SlappyDJ1 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I once used a part from JOS as a suicide note.
Castaway! Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I've often used the line 'There's nothing wrong with me this is how I'm suppost to be' as personal messages and stuff.I sent someone I didn't like the lyrics to FOD. They took it really seriously and said they were going to jump out a window. I also use lots of Billie/Mike/Tre quotes.I often sing Roll a Joint. XD
Nobody_Likes_You Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I use quotes a lot in my English tests .
Maddy. Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I often sing Roll a Joint. XDI stopped after my parents heard it :/
Isabel Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 There's never a message when I'm quoting Green Day lyrics, I'm usually just singing the songs out loud anyway and everyone is like "Here we go again..." Haha well that's a Green Day song in itself so really, they're the ones quoting them to get a message across!
kim246 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I got told the other day that i am like human version of a green day song I was talking kinda slushy and pathetic at the time
Maddy. Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I got told the other day that i am like human version of a green day song I was talking kinda slushy and pathetic at the time Take it as a compliment. You're awesome
Guest TwoDollarMellie Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I almost used "Do you have the time to listen to me whine" once for a speech. But I didn't.I'm pretty sure I've used "FOD" out of nowhere before just to sound badass hahahhahaha.
Ally Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 all the time, can't think when i don't use quotes to get a message to someone, the one that sticks out is "to love you is to hate you, so loving you must be like suicide" and "its something unpredictable and in the end its right" and i use "its not over til you underground, its not over before its to late" on a daily basis! Oh my dads mate has starting say "one" randomly at my dad cos hes been listening to 21 guns.
shoegazeloser Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 You have quite the potty mouth.Yeah, but they're only words.
amy_runs Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 If I'm having a conversation and I have an opportunity to throw in Green Day lyrics, I do!
drumstick Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Oh yeah! When someone says "welcome to the club", I have to add "and give me some blood" lol
davidharris Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 I played Platypus (I hate you) at a party to get some message to some girl
GreenDay808 Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 i do this a lot.i usually show songs to people when i want to tell them things i have a hard time actually saying. lame? i know. but music speaks the words i'm afraid to speak. its easier. i showed some guy i liked last night on earth and 2,000 light years away. i made a video with my friend for viva la gloria. but it was kinda lame.
forget_me_nots Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 If I'm having a conversation and I have an opportunity to throw in Green Day lyrics, I do!Me, too. I do it whenever possible. No one ever get it, though.
