netty Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 This.I asked Bill and just read his email. I listed all the options and got "all of the above?" back.
Boston Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I would so do that if I lived in or around Phoenix, or if I were 18 and had the money to fly out to Arizona for a day.
Angie-Marie Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I don't like the "taped for Verizon" part, because that makes it sounds like it would be an exclusive for people with Verizon phones/Internet. I'd just like a straight CD/DVD please! That's pretty much what I thought. Even though I do have Verizon, I don't deal with getting videos off V-Cast or anything like that. I'm hoping for a good old fashioned concert DVD of the whole show to come out eventually. BIAB was cool and all, but I just want to see the whole show uncut.
netty Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 if this was a one off type of gig I might be a wee bit bothered if it wasnt going to be a full dvd release but as its just one show from a huge tour, I`m not really arsed to be honest. I`m sure the gigs I`m actually going to will be just as enjoyable as this one will be.
Anja Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 That sounds pretty exciting. I hope for a taping of the full show of course but not a dvd cause I´d rather have a DVD of the London shows
Sarahnade. Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 In the next live dvd I'd like to see the live section separate from the documentary style section, it was annoying to have to skip the talking chapters in between songs on BIAB if you just wanted to watch the live part.I agree. I thought it was interesting, but, if they make another live DVD, I would prefer them to be seperated.I'm so excited! I'm hoping for a DVD. I would rather have a full thing, straight through with absolutly no editing. I want the whole concert. We could get Storytime and everything! Ah!And I rather like Sam Bayer and his work, so I hope he directs this as well. I like his effects, but, yeah, they were a bit much on BIAB. If he could back, and leave the show in a raw form without doing anything completley unnessacary, then that would be good.
amy_runs Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 If I had my license, a car and gas money I would totally do this
LouLou Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I would love to be able to watch the full thing again! I'd be grateful for anything from the show! This makes me really excited!!
Tubbie Head Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I can't wait to see the specialness of the show!! (tomorow morning xD)
HoneyDo666 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 OOOOH, I want a DVD.Like BIAB, I thought the documentary part made it really special. I also didn't get to see them on the AI tour, so I love it!I want to remember my 21CB show FOREVER! Not that I wouldn't w/o a DVD...
Isabel Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Wonder why AZ was picked for the special taping? I'd go....but I can't swim very well.
Mar Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Wonder why AZ was picked for the special taping? I'd go....but I can't swim very well.Oh God I missed where you weren't from the US and I was like...um, why would you have to swim to a desert? I would be fine with another BIAB style set, but an uncut concert? Oh my God, I'd die.
Brian Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I would also like the full set and not cut out songs. then i would be happy!
Hermione Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 If this is yet another one of these things where they film a whole wonderful concert, then cut out about 5 (all new) songs from it and stick them on some website and chuck the rest of the footage in the bin, I'll be annoyed.
Robin105 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I have a feeling this show will be like all the others.
GarinRichards Posted August 23, 2009 Author Posted August 23, 2009 Unedited straight up concert footage seems the choice But I do agree.I enjoyed Bullet in a Bible an all [ I'm not lazy enough to acronym it! ha!] But It's the in between nonsense, storytime, and overall awesomeness there is between songs that I realized is a special part of the whole experience.Hell, I would've been happy if Bullet in a Bible [i'm a rebel!] was the full unedited show with the documentary hitched on the same DVD but didn't interrupt the concert! But, I am grateful for the small documentary. I think it gave a great insight to the band and their music, especially to the people that only listened to Green Day and never LISTENED to Green Day.Does that make any sense?
GDM Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I just got an email from the Idiot Club about free tickets to the Sacramento show. It's just not fair that I'm on the other side of the country. Haha.

The knowledge that there are High-Quality video recordings of Restless Heart Syndrome, Horseshoes and Handgrenades and Peacemaker out there, that we don't get to see, pisses me off...
Isabel Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 Oh God I missed where you weren't from the US and I was like...um, why would you have to swim to a desert? I swim in deserts all the time
Sarahnade. Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 I think it would be cool if they videotaped random shows the whole tour, and then put it all together into a DVD after the tour ends. Like, it would have clips of shows from US, Europe, Asia, Australia, etc. And a documentary too, like BIAB. Maybe some footage of them before some of the biggest shows and stuff..? I don't know. I think that would be interesting. The only downside is that it wouldn't be released until a while after they finish the entire tour.
The Disappearing Boy Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 this had the judge's daughter didn't it?i need to see a pro shot of this.
