Greenday_Aussie Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Those lyrics are fantastic, but they cant be Green Day's. Let me try to squash these rumors.Too Much Too Soon - Written about Whatsername's crazy behaviour, follows AI format.Shoplifter - Possily from Ciggy's. Warning era-ish, which is why Green Day scrapped Ciggy's.Lights Out - No way, you can tell its about Chris/Gloria. The format is similar to BreakdownHearts Collide - Defiantly Breakdown era, The fact that the solo's are repeated twise (the same as Murder City) tells me that.BUT, any of these songs LYRICS could have been from the Ciggy's sessions.
The Disappearing Boy Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 the solo in hearts collide is nothing like the one in murder city.
Greenday_Aussie Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 the solo in hearts collide is nothing like the one in murder city.Oh ffs.The format of the song is, the solo is played in the middle, than played in the outro...I wasnt saying the solos were the same -__-

**nobodylikesyou** Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Yeah, AC/DC is pretty fucking bad, but I guess that's just my opinion...Even if youre only 15 you are old enough tp realize ACDC makes good music. Whether its your type of music is a different story I suppose.
Just Overjoyed Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 Saw this thread towards the top and thought someone found something...

They don't match the credits for American Idiot or 21st Century Breakdown. They are all self-produced.
Mrs. Nobody Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I'm a lazy fucker and can't arsed going through 10 pages (sorry )but i've gathered that there's no more info?
novacaine_kid Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 From those lyrics that were posted, it just seems like someone has referenced other Green Day songs and written their own stuff around them. I'd love to have been in that soundcheck when they played this. Who knows, maybe they will do it again someday, somewhere. Until then, its all just gonna be speculation.Oh and the AC/DC worst band ever comment was a bit unnecessary. Even if that is your opinion.
Eirik Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 From those lyrics that were posted, it just seems like someone has referenced other Green Day songs and written their own stuff around them.I'm pretty sure it's just a band called Cigarettes and Valentines.
novacaine_kid Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I'm pretty sure it's just a band called Cigarettes and Valentines. Thats a valid point I didn't take notice of that. Ah well.
