Favorite Green Day album artwork?

I voted Dookie, that cover is just so entertaining. I love all the rest of the artwork too, right up my street. Second place would definitely be Kerplunk mostly because of THAT story inside . And I really like how there's that guy lying dead on the back, having been shot my the girl on the front. And 1,039 is great too. All those three provide so much entertainment and amusement, they're more than just lyric booklets. Apart from those I love the American Idiot and 21st CB covers, they're just really aesthetically pleasing.

Warning is my least favourite. Having seen several photos from the cover shoot, you can see they were walking along happy and smiling, but the photo they used was where they all happen to be in a position where they look so serious! It's a bit dull, they should've put the lightning man on the cover instead

Well, I really like all of them, but honestly to tell you the truth, I think that Insomniac is my favorite cover. It's just so dark and random and I love how it unfolds into a poster thing. And I like how it has this 50's look to it and how the girl is holding Billie's guitar and pointing a gun at the guy. And the thing that's funny about it, is when you just look at the cover, you don't see that she's holding a gun, you just see the guitar, but when you open it up, that's when you see the gun.

I think my second favorite Green Day album cover is Nimrod.

Dookie. Hands down. Brilliant. I have a drawing I made of it, on a 8x10 back in 1994. Everything is the exact same as the album. I wish I knew where it was, I came across it a couple months ago and misplaced it again.

it took me a while. I picked Insomniac but I also love 1039 because of the Green Day bits in the back, it's so amusing. In fact, for the Green Day concert I made a shirt that said "gay nerd" in the font used on the cover because of the part where it says if you cut up Green Day stickers you can spell "gay nerd". I prolly should've picked that one but idk, Insomniac is just so awesome, totally punk. haha it's really a hard decision.
