Green Day Nerd Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I'm pretty sure the part with Tre "conducting" is from the Seattle show. I was there and i remember Tre doing that at some point during the show, and the stage with the little extended part in the middle looks exactly the same as Key Arena.

Angela. Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I just thought of this now - did anybody not know that they were being filmed? Because I know Pittsburgh's show is in that clip, and I know that I personally didn't see any signs or anything about being filmed when I was in the Mellon Arena, or outside the arena. That was sort of a random and pointless thought, but oh well.

Anja Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 That was awesome! I´d love a music video with just concert footage like this.
persons Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 That was awesome! I´d love a music video with just concert footage like this.yeah, that would totally be awesome!
Angela. Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 yeah i was thinking about that too, i didnt notice any cameras or anything like that at the show i went to.Yeah, neither did I. I saw photographers, but not a camera crew. And I would like to see a DVD made out of all of this. My idea for the perfect DVD? Show 1 song being performed for every show on the US tour. For example, Seattle kicked off the US tour, so the DVD could show a performance of 21st Century Breakdown. And then, a performance of KYE at the Vancouver show could be shown, and so on. And in between songs, small interviews with GD and clips of what the band did in each city could be shown. I think that would make an amazing DVD.
Hermione Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Very nice! Looks like the sign of something good whatever it is. Unless it was the sign of them releasing American Eulogy as a single instead of East Jesus Nowhere. Then it would be a bad sign But I think that's highly unlikely. Can't wait to find out what it's all about, they do like their sneaky mysterious little signs don't they?
jtdscape Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Here is the best quality i could get. right click then save as.http://1039sweetchildren.net/download/AmericanEulogy.mpgI will be trying to get better quality later.
iLozza! Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Ooh, looks good. Can't wait to see what it is in the end!
Bastard of 1967 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 i can see it be a single.Nah, too long. Only modern rock stations and alternative stations would play it uncut (like JoS). If they want airplay on the "mainstream" stations they need a shorter single. EJN, Last of the American Girls, or even better yet, Static Age, could all make great singles.
Harriet Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Awesome video! *crosses fingers for concert dvd*

Zalex Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 FUCK YES. I'm hopin for a nice cassette of the audio, too.I MISS MY CASSETTE WALKMAN.
Anko Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 It's possible that they could also have gotten clips from YouTube, seeing as that filming the crowd without permission could cause legal issues, but who would decline being filmed for a Green Day concert DVD? I sure wouldn't! I MISS MY CASSETTE WALKMAN.I remember that the first soundtrack I bought was for the first Pokemon movie and it was on Cassette!
Angela. Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Wow, thats actually a pretty cool idea. Pitch it to them Yay, I came up with a good idea. I should pitch it to them, shouldn't I?
