That happened for us aswell the people at the frount kept letting there friends in and stuff but it didntmatter for me cause 20 of us luky people who lined up all night got a white card thing and we got to go inside the arena before everyone else did. It was only a few minutes earlier but it was enuff time 2 get 2 the barrier :D

I got to the venue at noon and the external doors didn't open until 5.30pm

Would have camped out but my Year 10 Graduation was on that morning.

Oh well, I still managed to get barrier! :D

Though I did have two friends who got to the venue at around 5pm and were basically right behind me at the beginning of the show.

Wasn't too happy about that.

Well, for Birmingham I queued for 9 hours, but thats only because thats the earliest I could get there because that was the first train. I caught the 6am train to get there then and that was the first one. I'd be mor than willing to queue longer than that. Manchester I won't be able to queue for ages, probably get there about 7am, unless I have an exam in the morning in which case I will be SO pissed off! Wembley I'm not allowed to camp over, but hopefully I'll stop somewhere in London and go to queue at around 5am.

I'd be willing to queue for, I dunno, however long it takes if was allowed :( I'd queue a week if thats what it took to get to the front. I quite enjoy it to be honest :)

We payed the machanic ALOT EXTRA 2 work all night 2 get it fixed cause my mum knew that if i didnt get 2 the concert i would never talk 2 any 1 again lol. We got to the Arena on thursday at like umm i dont no i cant remember but yeh i ended up only camping out for 27 hours i wonted 2 camp 2 nights but that happened =(

Huh. Well, for Green Day, I arrived a little less than an hour a head of time. I got really awesome spots too.

Whaaaat? An hour?! Wasn't it like super crowded, and a long long line?

Only??

Lol well yeh :D then again i guess it wouldnt hav mattered as long as i had that white card lol cause the people at the end of the line got told the gates were being opened and we were all lyingon the concrete sleeping almost and we just see all these people running 2wards us were lik eomg stampeed LOL and then just like stood up and the guards are like you guys come 2 the frount lol were like YES haah !!

the longest I think is something like..32 hours or something. it depends on how you look at it really - technically for the two Sydney shows I got to the venue 10AM on the thursday - I didn't leave the venue until 1AM Sunday (because it was the two shows)

I don't know how long that is... haha can't be bothered really working out the math

I had a friend who went to see them earlier this year at Sheffield....he said he only arrived at the venue within 30 minutes of Green Day coming on stage, because he couldn't be arsed with seeing Prima Donna.

Then he says he got 3 rows from the front. Urgh - i queued several hours when I saw them at Birmingham to get 2 rows from the front. It infuriates me how people do this. Especially considering he isn't even a fan of theirs

...not that I really care that much.

Yeah, some people just get really lucky and end up right at the front having queued for a minimal amount of time!

I got there after the doors had opened. I didn't really have a choice of when I got there because my friends dad was driving us. =] I would have waited as long as it took to get in though =]

Well, in Melbourne we camped/lined up from sunday morning (about 9am), then went into the show on monday night (5.30pm), came out and sat straight back in line (11pm), lined up all day tuesday, found out it was postponed half an hour before doors (5pm), stayed there all night and then finally left after the show on wednesday!

i don't know how many hours that is, but it was so, SO worth it. :D

For Green Day I went to the show five hours in advance but they wouldnt open the gates til about two hours before the show, but I just hung out in my car,

But for warped tour I waited outside the gates for about 8 hours before, and yes there was a line already

Posted

I've only been to one Green Day show and I had seating tickets so the longest I've lined up for is less than an hour

Posted

I waited outside the arena for 10 hours before the show in Stockholm in October 2009 :)

I've only been to one Green Day gig and we had seats so we went in about half way through the support act. but we got to the venue about 4pm

but I've got standing tickets for GD this year and am planning on getting there between 8-10am, but the doors open at 4pm so it's not that long to wait before you go in tbh. Just a long wait for the band :|
