I waited for 5hours for the Birmingham show, at the time it seems like ages but it is ALWAYS worth it in the end, I would be happy to wait for longer knowing it will be the most awesome night ever.

0 mins, lol

Got there after it had opened, and it will probably end up being the same for Wembley

The only time I have ever waited in line was for Metallica, and that was only because we got there early and we had already done everything we could to kill time

Lol 10 mins. Plus i got to the barrier. Luck was with me that day

About 8 hours, and got in front of the cat walk.

I'll probably wait longer next time, especially if I was with GDCer's and could keep myself from getting bored.

Umm I think like 3 hours to see the Offspring in this small club show by me and we got a good spot :) I probably would have waited longer if I had GA Green Day tickets but I had seats, but next tour I shall get GA and wait for awhile.

Huh. Well, for Green Day, I arrived a little less than an hour a head of time. I got really awesome spots too.

We arrived at Wembley Arena about 2 hours before the doors were meant to open, we had seats. But we managed to hear the soundcheck from outside so we stood outside the wall before queing up. They must have left a door open near us because we could hear it perfectly. The same night was the Foxboro Hot Tubs gig in London so we heard them play songs.

It was: 21st Century Breakdown, Stop Drop And Roll, Pieces Of Truth, Ruby Room, 27th Ave. Shuffle, Alligator, Broadway, Highway 1, Red Tide.

Was pretty amazing.

I want to know who and why some people arrived to a concert 12+ hours in advance...

I'm pretty sure that's what I'll be doing for all the stadium shows in June.

I want to beat the other 20 000+ that will be standing as well

Oh I did not think about it like that.

Haha.

i waited 27 hours for 11th dec show and was 22nd in line =]

For the Henry Fonda show my friend and I showed up at the venue at 3 a.m. and ended up sleeping in her car until 6 a.m. and then went and sat outside the venue. To my best recollection, I believe we got actually inside at like... 7? I don't remember, I was way too tired to know or care about the time. I was exhausted to the point of falling asleep standing up at any second. But then Green Day woke me up. :D

longest i waited was at milton keynes got there a 10am.... that was an 8 hour wait.. and i got in the mosh pit

in birmingham we got there at 1.00ish and ended up rite at the front and next to people who had been there since 5.30! :)

7 hours for Green Day - got on the barrier then pulled up by Billie-Joe

so it was wayyyyyyyyyy worth it.

the only show ive ever waited more then half an hour

I only waited about an hour, only because I had got seated tickets, so there wasn't much point in camping.

But if I was standing it'd be a different story.

Same here, well, about 28 hours before the first show then came straight out of that show and camped out for the next night's show. All up we spent about 57 hours at the arena =). And yeah, the near guarantee of barrier is nice, but the experience in itself is worth it =D Made some awesome friends that I can't wait to see again at other shows sometime.

And wow, 22 people there before you already? We were surprised at how few people actually camped out/arrived early morning at Auckland. At our gate the first night there were only 5 of us camping, and no one else showed up until after 8am the day of the show. The second night there were just the 2 of us sleeping at our gate, and about 7 at the other. Good times though. Good times.

hahaha, we rescued empty cardboard boxes from the merch guy on thursday afternoon, then on friday night he came out and offered them to my sister and I instead of throwing them away. Good insulation from the concrete, lolol

Then I waited 2 hours to seen new moon opening night only cause I'm awesome like that. :D

Actually I felt like such a nerd it was kinda embaressing until I saw how many other non twilight freaks were there.

Kinda off topic, but I waited 9 hours for New Moon midnight show, don't be embarassed lol.

Eh, 7 hours for Green Day? Something around that.

Wow! That's a long time. Well done

No one camped out in Belfast. Me and Darren arrived at the venue at around 7.30AM and there were only 3 other people ahead of us. (One of whom was Trina, who was the first person there! :) )

The only shit thing about camping out for a show is, you're still not guaranteed a barrier spot (unless maybe it's a numbering system). It all depends on the venue and security. Like, in Belfast we were there for 11 hours but during the day they moved the queue down and loads of people who had only arrived jumped in right beside us, so really, others who had been there way earlier weren't at the front :(

And in Manchester they let people in through 5 or 6 doors and ours was one of the last in because our security guard was a goon. I still got up the front luckily, but this other girl who'd camped out only got 3rd row and she ended up being taken out of the show quite early on. It just sucks, y'know? :/

awww, that really sucks. I guess we were quite lucky because the people who arrived after us [especially on the first day] were supercool and respected that we'd been there much longer, and we all worked together to make sure that those who arrived first got in first :). And the venue only has two doors that go through to the floor and they opened at the same time.

Except some of the girls that camped at the other door just kept letting all their friends in at the front of the line all afternoon, in front of our friends who also camped and others who got there really early in the morning. We were so pissed off and glad it wasn't our line.

Yeah it kind of sucks when people in front of you let all their friends cut in. A couple is ok, but if it's around 8 or 9 you're like "C'mon!" :(
