Why 6?

I contacted our venue's (EnergySolutions Arena) Guest Services, and here is what they told me (if I understood them correctly). They said there will be 2 will call lines, since the will call office is downstairs, and there are 2 entrances. Then there are 3 lines for GA at the 3 main entrances. THEN at 6:30 PM, they will open the outside doors to let everyone into that inside ring (where all the food courts and stuff are), and there will be 6 lines for different portals that they will let people in to at 8 PM.

Its insanity, and I hope they realize this and revise their plan.

It was about 12 hours or so I think. But it was so much fun! I met a lot of cool people in line (a lot from here actually). I wouldn't trade it for the world! It was the best time...

Well, the show started at 8:00 PM, and I got there at 5:30 AM, and was the first there. Thanks to the sound check people (specifically Chris), I only had to wait in the line until 4:00 PM.... so ten and a half hours

For the show in Nashville TN, I was in line for about 6 hours. I would have liked to have been there way earlier than that, but we left Indiana the day of the show at about 7 in the morning and showed up in Nashville around 1. The show started at 7:30.

It makes me sad to talk about that show. I just want a fucking time machine.

Even though me and my friend waited for basically five to six hours, it didn't seem that long at all. lol

The time seemed to move slow though, probably because we kept checking the time like...every three minutes.

It's like, "What time is it!?" *checks clock on phone* "3:45 pm" *three minutes later* "What time is it now!?" *checks time again* "3:48"

I'm gonna be getting there about 6 hours early for my show in October, so I'm just wondering how close to the front of the line were you? And did you get to the front of the concert? I've never seen them live before so I'm hoping that's early enough to get to the front.

And remember the boys will be back, you'll see them again :)

I didn't really have to wait I guess. I arrived, went in and got my tickets, stood outside for 15 mins or so then went in.

Ugh, because I'm going to two shows one after another, I can't really make it to the venue earlier than 9AM on either occasion. I hope there aren't too many there before then!

Well...when we got there, there wasn't a line per se. Just people sitting down around the building, but we were sitting right next to the doors. So, when it was almost 6:30, people starting standing up and creating some sort of line, but it wasn't that long at all. My friend and I were all the way at the front, holding onto the handles of the door. :woot: lol

So...when the doors opened, we had to get scanned by the metal detector and then my friend and I rushed to the table where you get your wristbands, and then rushed to the stage. We were like...in second row at the end of the catwalk, and there was hardly anyone there.

Obviously, no one was in the seats yet, because they have an assigned seat, and I'm guessing there was only...50-100 people in the standing area. So yeah, we were really far up there.

And yeah, I'm DEFINATELY going to see them again next summer. =)

At my first show we waited for an hour and a half, and the line was pretty big. I wanted to get there earlier, but we didn't get to St. Louis until like 5, and the people I was with didn't want to stand in line forever.

But if they do a second leg, and if they come near me, I'm getting there at like 9-10 am.

How were you not the first person in line??

I think I waited three hours for the Green Day DNA Lounge show. It wasn't too bad, I met some interesting people.

Except for me :(

At the Uptown, I waited from 2pm until 2am. Well, basically it would have been 7 hours cause doors opened at 8 (if my memory serves me right). Thing was just, I wasn´t over 21 to get inside that freaking club

So I´ve waited around until 2am until everything was over and the band had left.

It would have been even longer cause I started walking to the club at about 12pm but decided not to take the bus to save money so I walked all the way down there for like 30 blocks

For the upcoming shows, I will probably get there even earlier.

Thanks for the info, that sounds promising . And sounds like it must've been brilliant!

I can't imagine wanting to queue anymore than 10 hours. God that would be dodgy, especially around the area where the O2 arena is located!
