Nimrod99 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Hmm, I think I am going to have to get that. I saw some of it on youtube and was considering getting it. Well, looks like I have my answer now. lol. In terms of finding in any music stores around here, if it's anything like LFDF I will have to get it imported.
Ila Reto Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 oh, i also heard a "rumour" that you can actually see Billie Joe in the audience. I haven't found him yet, but... anyone? :Boh i got in an arguement with someone on youtube about this. okay, i had one Network DVD (this one) and they had a different one (which i have never seen before). and on the other one, it was said that he was in the audience. i dont know for sure though. but i DO know that i've seen Disease is Punishment countless times and he is not there.
pols4tre Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 I watched it yesterday, for the first time in forever and its SO good. I wish I could go to a Network show!! Mmmm Fink...
JohnnyNapalm Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 And Fink's dancing during Supermodel Robots is the best haha yes! he makes retarded dancing look epic as!

Nimrod99 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Ok, I just bought this DVD 2 times, and the first time I had to send it back (and I might have to do it again). Does anyone who lives in America have this DVD that plays on their DVD player?
J&TheNight Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 First off I apologize if this is not in the right forum/section...I know it's another band and all, but c'mon, no matter how much they deny it, it's Green Day for cryin' out loud... I am currently watching their live DVD right now called "Disease is Punishment" and it is the trippiest thing I've seen in a long time. I'm SO glad I don't do shrooms anymore because I think I would have to go outside and take a walk and clear my head. Has anyone else seen this?? Mhm, i bought it from overseas! It's been out for a while, but out of print for almost just as long! Mine is, sadly, region encoded meaning it won't play on most DVD players. I watch it on the computer to TV via HDMI. It's a really interesting show, one that demonstrates how much Mike sings on that album XD
Sarcasm Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 There is more than region problems with that DVD. I downloaded 2 different ones and couldn't get the ISO mounted or get it to play properly.

Yeah, I had an iso, and I converted it to mp4, and it's completely out of sync. I've done that plenty of times with other movies and it's worked fine

LazyPhil Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I have the DVD and it's always played on all of my DVD players that I have. Maybe you always had region free DVD players?
That Dude Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 So Mike finally confirmed that they were the network. In one of the interviews about Green Day taking time off, he talks about how busy they have been since 2003/2004, naming off all their projects, and The Network is one of them.
localinsomniac Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 They kind of half-admitted it when the Network's material was included in that crazy 7" box set a few years ago.
OneSongInFrench Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 The Network is one giant CD of ?WHAT? haha. But the DVD I have not seen yet.
Todd Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 So... What's on the dvd that comes with the 2003 edition of Money Money 2020? Is it the music videos? Anything else?
localinsomniac Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I forget which songs, but there's six music videos. And then the "press conference" they did with Roecker/Svengali.
Todd Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I forget which songs, but there's six music videos. And then the "press conference" they did with Roecker/Svengali. Okay. I have all the music videos (In shitty quality). I'll have to try to find that dvd so I can rip them right. Joe Robot, Hungry Hungry Models, Love & Money, Transistors Gone Wild.... I guess I'm missing twohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDHrdqAvS1E
Hermione Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 So Mike finally confirmed that they were the network. In one of the interviews about Green Day taking time off, he talks about how busy they have been since 2003/2004, naming off all their projects, and The Network is one of them. Actually he's just a lying bastard trying to steal the credit for The Network's work So... What's on the dvd that comes with the 2003 edition of Money Money 2020? Is it the music videos? Anything else? I don't have it, but I've heard that there's an option to turn on "Snoo vision" on the Hungry Hungry Models video on there (which is just a picture of the Snoo in the corner of the screen while the video plays) . Unfortunately this feature isn't on Disease Is Punishment (which I do have) so I haven't experienced it myself.
Jon Benjamin Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Is this DVD live audio or synced with the recording?
Nimrod99 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 It won't play in my DVD player, however, my friend told me that I could play it on my computer via windows media player... and it worked. I'm glad I'm not the only one who had this problem.
