Thanks for the scans.

....I don't remember them bringing a chick up on stage for "Holiday" O_O

I don't either. It has to be Longview. Oops.

Thanks for posting this - nice to see some backstage pictures of that night.

God I am getting too old for Stella 4 pints yesterday and I felt so drunk

Great article thank you :)

x

I'm getting better at it, but I had two in quick sucession a few weeks ago and I needed a sit down  Vodka, however is a different story :shifty:

I don't understand the dog 'joke' I know it's not meant to be amazing, but I still don't 'get it'

That was a great article, thanks for posting

Fucking hell, an article about Pittsburgh's show would have been awesome... But this article is pretty cool. For some reason, seeing Billie's comment, "I just don't want to let anybody down," bummed me out. He pushes himself so far, to the point where he bruises himself, just to push GD forward and make us happy. That's a lot of dedication.

This. And he's sure not letting anyone down.

Oh definitely. Their shows have always been incredible for me.

Thanks for posting scans!

Best live band going around. Great article, thanks!

Need to get this! I saw them in Boston and they were, as always, incredible! It was my first time seeing them!

I can't wait for this issue to come out. I'll probably get it sometime next month, though. It seems like mine are a month slow.

I almost went to that Pittsburgh show. :(

But, I agree with you. That quote is a bit depressing, yet enlightening. To know he's still pushing his physical health 20 years into his career just to please an audience is very admirable. When I saw him live, I thought he was going to pass out because of how insane he was behaving. He seemed fine, though, like nothing effected him, and maybe he's just so used to dominating the stage, he's become immune to the effects.

I don't know. I'm glad he works so hard just to make his fans happy, but I sometimes worry that he's going to get seriously hurt on stage or get really tired out. Hopefully, everything will be fine; it probably will be. I'm a pessimist, though, so I can't help but wonder.

Anyway, the article was well written, and I enjoyed the pictures. The cover with Barack Obama is amazing too.

I agree. I knew the band put on a great show, but I was still blown away by how amazing they were, and how much energy Billie had. I love their enthusiasm for the fans, and like you, I hope they stay safe! I can only speak for myself, but he certainly didn't disappoint me!

Thank you for posting the scans! :D

Someone sent me something on Twitter about this and I hadn't read it on the forum. I have to go pick this up. Especially since I was at this concert. :D

You know, I think that concert was my favorite concert ever. Not only because I got to meet Tre, and be in front of the catwalk against the barrier all night, but because of all the awesome people that I went with. :) And everyone new I met there.

but its worth it

cause we care.

cause we worship them and we look up to them.

cause they are making a diference, and we are the living proof.

cause we listen to them and take them serious and learn from them.

cause they Do make us happy.

and cause they get what they give, and thats a lot.

^That joke is just nasty, I have a horrible mental image . Nice article, it's amazing what they put into these shows. I can't wait to see them.

thisss.

i feel bad for him. like i know he loves to do this, but hes not letting anyone down.

and like someone else said, i hope he realizes he isn't.

Me too. I think that's just the way he operates though. The shows must be intense for him but I can't imagine him doing it any other way, always giving his all seems to be ingrained into his personality. Like everyone else I just hope he knows how much his efforts are appreciated, because they really are!
