Guest Billy Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 ^Looks like it says 'greatest' to me. Up to the individual to define greatness Greatest side burns: yes. Greatest bassist: no.Great doesn't equal favorite; I'm pretty sure the two words have different minutes, but you know I only got a 750 on my English SAT score. I don't know much.
Hermione Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 As I'm not American that means nothing to me . Got the highest GCSE and A' Level results in my school though Anyway for every low score you give Mike I will him many more high ones. Ha!!!

Ha!!!750/800, which is fucking amazing, if you ask any American who has taken the SATs. My overall score was a 2010 out of a possible 2400. Which is okay for me, seeing as I'm only going to be a junior and it wasn't the real thing. It was last year's version as a practice round.I just took Mike off the list, I win.
Hermione Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Okay we've established neither of us are stupid Oh who's that at number 15?
Guest Billy Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Whenever I see him, I'll be sure to demote him.
Chelsea Hotel Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I love that they have Krist Novoselic down as "Christ Novoselic."God, NME, why not stop playing favorites for once?!
Teenage Kicks! Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I'm shooting for flea anyways.I lurve Dirnt believe it, and he totaly sparked my interset in bass. But I like fleas musicianship and skills like WOW
iluvmikedirnt Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Mike totally deserves to be up there. I LOVE YOU MIKE!!! hes at 5.04 no. 14 but changing all the time
Wolfdemon Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 17 nowNevermidn 14Though him and Nikki Sixx are both great bassists in my book.

Then again, I am bias.Trust me Chris Wolstenholme ios an amazing BassistEven though I hate most Muse songs, with a few exceptions, they're a really talented band. Matt is a brilliant guitarist.
Kaddi. Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 This is weird... Your Rating: 10Average Rating: 4.57 Mike Dirnt - Green Day Current Rating: 4.83
Farah Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 everytime i vote it gives me "File not found" :/Atleast, is my vote still counting?Edit: Nevermind, it's working now!
Nobody_Likes_You Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 We got him in the Top 20 since yesterday? YAY
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 My computer really doesn't like me.It says his avarage rating is 4.60
Nele Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I can't give him a ten and feel right. He's okay, he's nothing brilliant. The man uses a pick when he plays bass, he doesn't slap. How can I feel right inside knowing that I ranked him higher than say Jaco Pastorius, the greatest jazz bassist? How can I rank him higher than Flea, just listen to All Around the World? The musicianship is the important thing, not "WHAT BASSIST DO I THINK IS BEST!?" This is the greatest bassist competition. So now, if you really think that someone like Mike Dirnt, who is okay, yet a raw bassist, is better than John Entwhistle, who is one of the greatest bassists of all time, please watch a video of Longview live compared to a video of My Generation live. Green Day even covered my generation!well you've got a point there. I'd really like to hear Mike slap... or if he even knows how to do it.
Drew Maney Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I voted 5 times at least and gave him a 10 each time and by accident voted for Motley Crews bassist and gave him a ten!
