J'net Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 oh ok thanks for clearing that up, it was just a silly thought I had.NBD ... I always like to think people are reading GDC. But Larry is such and open and honest person, I think he'd let us know if he were doing that.
Guest Shangri-La Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 oh my god. I had to hear one of those live; I thought my ears were bleeding. x______x
greendaytone Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Well it turns out i was standing right next to Larry Livermore at MSG on the 28th! I didn't know until someone tapped him on the shoulder and asked are you 'Larry Livermore.' I immediately said hello and got chatting to him, and enjoyed the rest of the show with him! He really was loving the show, you could see it in his eyes. It was so great to see. He told me he's coming to the London shows and we'll try and meet up! Thanks for posting the blog, it's a great.

Chelsea Hotel Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Without Larry, there would be no Green Day as we know it.
sportsfrk214 Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Great review, I was at MSG for the first night and I have to agree with Larry, the best show ever. I was really hoping Green Day had a few extra tricks up their sleeves for New York and they didn't disappoint. One interesting thing he said in the review though was that the band was fined for going past the Garden's curfew. Is this true? I do remember checking my phone when the show was over and I wasn't able to believe how long it went on for.
HoneyDo666 Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 So great to hear from someone so close to the band!
924gilmangirl Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Larry Livermore is a total douche bag! I see him all the time at Gilman and just the east bay in general. If only you guys really knew him. Same with Aaron Cometbus. I would prefer Aaron Cometbus over Larry Livermore any day though.

924gilmangirl Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I know they both live in Brooklyn, but there in the east bay sooooo much! I can't even count how many times I've seen Aaron Cometbus here.
