You're right, mtv.com is a nightmare to rip, and I don't think it's actually possible as they use Adobe Secure RTMP Measures, which no stream-recorder can get around.

From a Jaksta logfile:

*** Encrypted RTMP (RTMPE) with SWF Verification detected. It is not possible to record this stream legally. ***

Therefore the only way to get those videos is through screen-capture software, which loses a fair bit of the video's quality. That appears to be what "Jimmy From Clark" has done for the videos in the download section, here. Perhaps we could pester him to record the backstage stuff

Well basically Taylor Swift won an award for best female video and while she was doing her acceptance speech Kanye stormed on the stage taking the microphone from her and goes on how Beyonce's video was good and some stuff totally shocking Taylor swift and y'know basically upsetting her over the whole thing luckily Beyonce was cool enoungh to y'know let Taylor Swift come on stage to complete her speech after Beyonce won an award

I think there are 2 possibilities.

1. Kanye's a drunk asshole

2. It was scripted so that Beyonce gave Taylor a chance to shine. Kanye looks like a douche which he wants to do so that his next album is all gangsta rap. Win-win for everybody
