Are they even doing the Verizon soundcheck thing again this time around? Because, I got in by chance last year.

It was crazy. Some lady came up to us and was like "Do you guys have Verizon cell phones?" I didn't. My friend Steph did. But the lady was in a hurry, and she was like "Doesn't matter. If you're coming, hurry up, let's go."

I now have a Verizon phone, bahaha.

nothing has been said about sound check. they didnt do it for the european leg so doubt they will do it for the rest of the shows. they are more likely to do the early entry thing.

Yea, you know, I don't think they were all that happy about the soundcheck thing. I don't think Verizon told them about it at the beginning, but by then, they had to just go with it. I like early entry possibilities, though!

I haven't heard anything about Verizon's involvement with this leg of the tour, so I'm assuming there won't be any sponsored soundcheck thing this time. Remember, the band management ran it on their own for a bit for the early part of the Europe tour and then blew it off? I think it's kind of a big hassle to assign someone to keep track of the winners and all.

I hope the early entry thing works out. Although it would be kind of pointless for those venues where there is no front pit/GA area, I guess.

for the European shows, they had the early entry contest on the Idiot Club, and we are hoping they do that too, but its useless in some of them, since there are seated venues. no one knows whats going on unfortunately

In Helsinki, they started to give away bracelets which allows early entry. We came to the venue at 7 AM and we got last three bracelets. There was 100 of them. They were giving them out for all night before the show, like from 1 AM or something. We got our own line and got in before the others.
