Verizon Soundcheck and Autograph Questions

Verizon is a US cellphone carrier, like Sprint or T- Mobile or AT&T. This company is sponsoring this US leg of the Green Day tour. It's their employees who hang by the big Verizon/Green Day bus and make several people very happy by choosing them for Soundcheck at each show.

A "Verizon phone" is simply one that uses the Verizon company as the carrier. At some venues, they took it a step further and were looking for Verizon Blackberrys, letting only people in who had those.

Since you're not in the US, it's perfectly understandable that you would not know what a "Verizon phone" is!

Hopefully, there will be something similar for you guys to be able to view Soundcheck at the European shows by whoever sponsors the tour there.

well.. I really hope so.. BUt I need to know it before the show I'm going, which is the 1st one of the European Tour :/ (I'm not sure If I should be happy or upset by that)

Chris, please just give Amy a pass. She's like freaking out and asking 30493840398 questions.

She's a cool girl. She deserves one.

Amy's a sweetheart, and she should definitely get in. She's one of the most loyal and faithful fans I know (next to me, of course :)).

I am so sorry for all you non-Americans. I feel so bad that you don't get to meet the amazing amazingness that is Christopher.

^ Why don't we? Is he only with them in America?

He is not with the band at all. He is with the tour sponsoring company, Verizon. Verizon is not sponsoring the non-US legs of the tour. Perhaps someone else will sponsor the Europe/UK portion of the tour and also have availability of soundcheck passes for you guys. :)

Hey Chris, what about bribery?

:)

Ehh who am I kidding, I'm broke anyway. The most I'd be able to give would be like 5 bucks.

I doubt this will continue in Europe and the UK, it seems unique for the US tour. I would however like to see the IC doing something like this in future.

Why not? I think they'll have it in the UK. :) or at least they should!
