Trina Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 I wonder will they be letting people in for the soundchecks on the non-US tour dates?I would be overcome with happiness if I somehow got in to the soundcheck!To the people who have gotten into soundchecks so far, did you get to take your place in the line again or did you have to go to the back of the line or did you just hang in the venue?!?So I'm assuming Green Day will have a different sponsor (or no sponsor) for the European dates since I don't think Verizon even is over here...So excited about all of this!!

I just realised something.People who have been queing up overnight/very early in the morning mightn't even get a spot at the barrier because they weren't on verizon, didn't get into the sound check and then the sound check people took up their space...Man, that sucks.

By the way, I wish I had your job haha although it'd be hard turning down crying fans that don't get to come in but that's part of the job. I'm thinking of buying a richmond sluts album, seriously ha..I wish I could have gone to the show in St. Louis but money is tight and me and my brother are saving up money for florida-georgia football game in jacksonville which is wayyyyyyy F'in expensive. If I didn't think there would be another tour on this album I would've gone though. Have fun at the rest of the shows everybody. I have a feeling Los Angeles will get one of the best, if not the best show on the tour. It'll be hard to top the 2nd day of MSG though..have fun....Adam Smith or i could just putadam s ...

I was talking to a Verizon guy in Hartford, and he said that there's a list of people that have verizon that they choose off of for every show to get into soundcheck. You do the whole soundcheck thing, go back to the VIP room with the others and get food and drinks, and then the people picked off of the list rather than getting the passes right at the venue get specially autographed things mailed to them. Hope that helps. (:Ok you pretty much got it right. I won a contest through Verizon and they gave me 2 free tix. I showed up and they gave us soundcheck passes. Went in an hour and a half early and listened to soundcheck for 15 min. Then we went up to a bar where we played rock band, got sum lame food, took pics and that was about it. I never got to go backstage or get an autographed item. I did get a free t-shirt however. I dont feel like reading the whole fourm so can someone tell me what she won and what she did differently than me?This is me and my friend during the soundcheck afterparty.
