^^ Yeah, I started out right by the stage and I was so fucking mad at myself for moving but I felt like I was going to puke on everyone there and then pass out or something. It's so intense.

Green Day was my first concert to be in a mosh pit.

I really had no idea how crazy it was gonna be.

In the middle of the show, I got so freaking dehydrated, that I almost moved out of the mosh pit.

I ended up sucking it up and staying in the front, because I knew I would regret it later if I went in the back.

I'll be honest, being in the mosh pit was kind of frightening for me.

I got really scared the people trying to grab me and kiss me and stuff.

I'm still going to go in a mosh pit for Green Day shows only..but I think I'll stick with seats for the rest of my concert life.

I am so glad that there is a topic for this! Ive been thinking that if the tickets that I won for Saturday are GA, I'm gonna need some idea of where I want to be in the show... according to most of you its the corner where the catwalk meets the stage... right???

I really have no idea.. I just want a good view of the band and be up close at the same time... :/

The amazing thing about the catwalk is that it gives alot of the people along there a great view no matter where they are. So just go with whatever's free. Better be quick though, people tend to run there first

^I ran down the steps like a mother fucker, and my friend was waaaay behind me and I'm just calling, "WHERE DO YA WANNA GO? WHERE WHERE WHERE? DECIDE NOW!" because people are SO quick! haha.

And, yeah, Green Day is the band I will always be in the pit for. As for other bands, it depends.

Yeah.

I know it's wimpy, but mosh pits really do scare me.

I'll do it for Green Day though.

Same here!

I was thinking, if you're up against a barrier or something, wouldn't that be better than being sandwiched in between two rows of people?

That's how I see it, 'cause then you'll at least have the air in front of you to breathe.

It's not whimpy at all, I got terrified around Longview especially because I started to get sick. You just have to be well prepared. And, I'm only 5"3' and not strong at all, so I got pushed around pretty easily. My friend and I got seperated near the end of 21CB. It was so frustrating, haha.

I really want to be right in front of the catwalk. Does anyone know if this is a good spot?

Or a good spot to be picked to go onstage?

I was right at the very front of the catwalk, and Billie spent the majority of the night playing right in front of me! I love it there.

I'd think so. But you also have to think about the pain you'll get in your rib area from being shoved up against the barrier for about 2 hours. But, it's a great spot, and you can breathe better. That's where I want to be at my next show.

Shit, I forgot about that. I heard someone from this tour got their ribs broken at the concert.

Me too! But the security guards splashed water in our mouthes cause we were all beggining to like die of dehydration.

I'm pretty tall, and I still got pushed around pretty bad. I wish I could bring water with me, but there's not much room to

hold a water bottle in a mosh pit.

Plus lucky me, was on my period on the day of the concert.

Also, you get to see EVERYTHING on stage at once, instead of constantly looking around all the time and trying to focus on four different events at once.

I wish I could bring a water bottle to a show, but I wouldn't think that would be allowed. Even if I were to buy it at the venue, that would waste time on me getting in the front. Guuh.

Omg, I was lucky enough to not have mine. I was so worried I would; that would be AWFUL.

After the Manchester show I had a pretty bad pain in my ribs because I was squashed so badly against the barrier. Like, yeah you're going to get pushed up against it alot. But if you want to be there you won't care. The crowd in Manchester was the roughest I've ever been in, but I wasn't going to lose my place. I queued for 9 hours for that spot :D

Yeah, I'd feel alot better if I could have brought water in the venue.

I was so terrifed I'd leak.

But the cramps weren't too bad, usually they kill me.

Green Day made the cramps better :D

Ooooh, mid show I thought I had mine, and I was in white shorts. But luckily not, thank god. Sorry you had yours :(

Thank god you didn't! That would have been horrible!

Mines were bright neon blue.

haha. I'm really tiny too so I'm gonna get owned. But I'm one of those people who gets really angry at people that push me and I just jab them in the ribs for the rest of the show.

Well that's only if I get like right in the middle and I can't see a thing. :P

I would pick none of those spots!

I was slightly to my right of Mike, in front of Jason Freese, it was THE GREATEST!

I got attention from Mike, Tre, both Jason's and a little Billie.

Was pulling faces with Mike all night. and then got him to get me pulled up on stage.

Mind you, I am a lover of Mike and all things Mike and wasn't too sad about not being able to see Billie. Had to turn around completely to see him for the acoustic encore but when I did turn around i could see him really well. or i didn't turn around and just gazed at Mike off to the side of the stage :P

Now, I'm someone who's never been on the floor of a show before, and frankly, I'm big and I can get out of breath easily. If I try for a floor spot, where am I least likely to die/get squished? I need professional opinions!

at the corner where the stage meets is that a pretty good spot?

i was asking my dad to take me to see them when they come back around but be close to the stage. hes afraid of pitting

whats a good spot upfront without like any pitting?

well personally I like to be on the actual barrier, because although you get pretty squashed and bruised, you don't get pushed around and can't really lose control when jumping and all that.

also anywhere around the catwalk people get pretty pushy and crazy because its where most people want to be.

again, over to the side in front of Mike is nice :D
