Mike's corner is so good!

for the first two shows I went to this tour I was a little further along on Mike's side, but ended up 2nd from the corner on his side for the last one, and it was incredible.

could see Billie SO well and got a shitload of Mike attention. as well as easily seeing Tre and my lovely Jason Freese.

The only thing that sucks is that during the acoustic stuff you can't see Billie unless you completely turn around and stand on tiptoes. but you can also see Mike and Tre while they are just chilling side of stage and sometimes get to talk to them.

:)

^Haha, that sounds great. You got pulled up when you were on Mike's side?

Yeah, no seeing the acoustic encore would be a little bummer. I was in front of the catwalk at my show, and it was amazing when Billie ran down it the first time, and we all just kind of gasped and screamed. I still have the image in my mind when he first came down and looked at me and told us to do the wave. So epic. But I think being on the corner would be great too.

I think the side of the catwalk is definitely the best spot. The catwalk is where most of the action goes down, usually the middle and the end of it so the side is perfect :) But I guess it depends who you want to see the most of, because some people prefer Billie, some Tre and some Mike. We love them all, but most people on here have a favorite :P

but if you're on the side, even if you're on the barrier, you're not really ever in the "front row" because you have to turn to see anything.

yeah I was just to the right of Mike's microphone stand. :D so easy to get his attention from that spot.

I can barely picture anything vividly of what happened at our concert anymore....it feels so far away...4 months...ughh.....

I was on the front of the catwalk for the two Auckland shows and tbh, given a chance I doubt I'd change a thing! It was perfect for me :).

And watching the acoustic encore from there has got to be included withing the top moments of my life :D

Mike's corner ftw!

I didn't mind the end of the catwalk either though.

I just prefer the corner of the catwalk because that's where most of the action was at our shows :)

I don't mind not being right in front of him during the acoustic encore, I'd rather see him up close throughout the entire show than just for one or two songs.

The Side of the Catwalk, but quite close to the end so, that when someone is on it you wont only see their back?

I'm not sure, I haven't stood at a Green Day concert before...

i saw them in pittsburgh this year and it was my first GA experience and it was so worth it. it just depends on what you want the most. if you're looking to get really close to billie, then the end of the catwalk is pretty decent. i was right on the barrier and every now and then he would shake his head and i would get splashed with sweat, lol. however, if you want something less violent, then i would head toward where the catwalk meets the stage. my friend got picked to sing for longview and thats where she was. either way, you win, it's still green day :)

 This is not okay that I want that so fucking badly.

^You are not alone, my friend.

I didn't get splashed with his sweat but he squirt me with the water gun which was amazing. Cooling and epic.

Lucky bitch. Just kidding. Only I'm really not.

I fucking needed water at the concert!

^I am a lucky bitch. :P

Yeah, I wish I could've like brought a water bottle in. During the hours I was waiting out, I was drinking water, but mehh. Not enough. I did discover when I saw Taking Back Sunday 3 months ago that chewing gum helps because it keeps your saliva moving or whatever. I don't know, it helped me at least. but gum doesn't equal water haha.

Really? I'll try that. I also didn't eat, 'cause I didn't want to look fat. How smart of me.

Yeah. BUT i also ate good before that show, which I also didn't do before Green Day. I had a little bit of McDonalds breakfast haha. So next GD show, I have to force myself to eat, even though i'll be anxious as hell.

Yeah. I can't wait :ninja:

I'm so scared that this time I'll break a rib or something, hahaha

I'd say it's close between the end of the catwalk, because Tre runs down there at the start and the side of thet catwalk. I stood at the side and i just felt like it looked more fun than at the side.

On the day of the Belfast show all I ate was a muffin

Psh, I'd take any spot as long as I get to see them

I say corner of the stage and catwalk.

Better view and billie smiles at you when your near. Especially if you jump up and down like a maniac infront of him like me.

^ Can you even jump when you are against the barrier???? I couldn't fuckin' move!

The only real annoying thing about being at the barrier is having people pulled out on top of you. Otherwise, it's amazing!

Exactly!!!

That's what happened to me, and I'm very short, I couldn't see a thing, and that kept happening all the time (like everytime one person went off there was another one being pushed right on top of my head!) I couldn't even concentrate on what was going on on the stage! :verymad:

And so, I gave up my beautiful spot in front of the catwalk (at the barrier).

For the next show,I'm thinking about the spot where the catwalk meets the stage, on Jason's side... Maybe 'cause it's a "softer" place and also great because you can see Billie, Mike, Tré and Jason Freese (I don't know If I can see White there)!

Anybody has been on this spot? If so please tell me if I'm wrong!

I need to study this very well before the next concert, I hope I can stay in the front during the whole show! :(

Yeah, it really is so annoying. It didn't happen to me too much at the Green Day shows but it's happened to me before at other gigs. Every two minutes a security guard was dragging someone out over my head

I've never been on that side of the stage but I imagine it's a good place to be. While the right hand side is amazing, your view of Mike can be a bit obscured if you're right on the corner because you have to turn around to see him some of the time. I'd say go for Jason's side!
