As a single, how successful has "21 Guns" Been?

I think I got all those on page 37. Maybe some on 36. I know it's not an official source, but I don't see why they'd lie. And I'm pretty sure they get the numbers from Billboard.

I hardly hear Green Day songs here, although I did hear East Jesus Knowhere on the radio a while ago. But I think the 21 Guns ft. AI Cast has made a difference. But Green Day is definately underplayed here.

21 Guns to me is somewhat over-played. Everyone at my work has that song on their iPod and it's strange for some of them since they listen to completely different music.

Yeah, that and basically half of the first verse it cut out and replaced with other lines from the same verse.

I seriously think they never should´ve released 21 Guns as a single. I can´t really explain this but for some reason this song has been something untouchable for me since the moment I´ve first heard it. It meant the world to me and no matter how often I listened to it I couldn´t prevent myself from crying because it is so deeply emotional.

And I can´t stand it when they play it on the radio because I think it´s no song to just listen to at work or in the car. For me it has always been something special. And though I think it is the most beautiful song on the record I still think they shouldn´t have published it. But that´s just me, for sure.

I feel like this album hasn't got as much attention as American Idiot did. In Sweden I feel like the album havn't been promoted, I wouldn't say not at all, but at least not as much as they did with american idiot

it hasn't really been promoted here in Texas... or, at least in my city.

they really don't even play any of their singles very much. they play older ones like TOYL and When I Come Around, but i think I've only heard 21 Guns once or twice since it was released as a single.

it sucks, too. 'cause when i say something about the album, nobody knows wtf i'm talking about 'cause 2/3 of my friends don't even know Green Day.

I've heard 21 Guns probably 3 times since it's been released. I haven't heard the other singles very much either. There's absolutely no promotion in Kansas City. It's sad.

All the posts I've been seeing are really unlike here in Colorado... Back in the summer, 21 Guns was being played at least two or three times a day. Now it's being played maybe once a day.

You guys are right about the album in general, there's been so much less promo than with American Idiot.

I've seen it about 3 times on TV - but straight after that our tv extra package thing ended, so I haven't really had the kinda channels that'd play it.

Oh, and I bought the single as soon as it came out, but I honestly don't know else anyone at all that bought it.

Same here in Germany. If you´re lucky you´ll get to hear Holiday once in a while and that´s it. But they play 21 Guns several times a day.
