Isabel Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 You are getting a slap I very rarely skip any tbh, even the ones I put it's only occasionally that I do skip, I guess it comes down to what mood you are in on any particular day.x
RebelofSuburbia Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Last Night on Earth. I can't really think of other Green Day songs I skip more then I play them.
Punk Rock Love Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I usually skip Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)
fletcher-999 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 the only song which I have ever skipped is last ride in....... that's the only green day song i really don't like
Heather! Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 ^ How dare you! It's so fucking chill.I usually skip take back.Take Back is amazing. Not too big on Haushinka...
death_has_a_shadow Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I always skip Restless Heart Syndrome, Hold On, and Walking Alone. I just don't like them. Never have.
pau72 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 last night on earth, christian's inferno, see the light and all the shenagains' songs.
Peel Slowly And See Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Disliking Walking Alone is proof that you have no heart. I hear that the Tin Man doesn't like that one.
love_billie_joe Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I always skip Restless Heart Syndrome, Hold On, and Walking Alone. I just don't like them. Never have.how can you not like those three songs? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but geesh, especially 'hold on.' Ah well, your loss...
Guest Hayley Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Take Back is amazing. It's fine but a bit boring.
Isabel Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I can imagine the reaction if they ever decided to play Christian's Inferno."This song's called Christian's Inferno!!"*tumble weed slowly rolls by*
Lauren Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 One For The RazorbacksGASP!!1That (along with iViva la Gloria!) is my favorite song of theirs!!! :( I can imagine the reaction if they ever decided to play Christian's Inferno."This song's called Christian's Inferno!!"*tumble weed slowly rolls by*I would go "BOO!!!!" LOL.
Hermione Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Step off the hating Christian's Inferno bandwagon everyone.Disliking Walking Alone is proof that you have no heart. I hear that the Tin Man doesn't like that one. I lol'd. Funny because it's true.
Peel Slowly And See Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 It's not one of my immediate favorites, but Walking Alone is certainly the song of theirs that's closest to my heart.
Kayfabe Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Same, I skip KYE too, I saw a customer review for 21CB the album a few days ago, and it was scapegoating KYE. It is one of the worst on the album, but he was saying 'They changed their sound to repetitive power pop/punk... with no guitar or drum solos, just look at KYE the chorus is repeated 12 times" (ouch) It smarts because none of that is true for the album on a wholeI skip One for the Razorbacks, it hasn't impressed me so far yet. I skip last of the american girls just because i like murder city so much and i skip christians inferno, you can't sing along to it and when the chorus does come, all they have to say is 'whoa, christian's inferno' >.> I skip Static Age and See the Light usually, depends how i feel.I always skip Restless Heart Syndrome, Hold On, and Walking Alone. I just don't like them. Never have. You skip RHS???Hold on's not that bad and neither is walking alone but RHS???' Know your enemy ' I am sorry but that song pwns.
Peel Slowly And See Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Skipping songs defeats the purpose of an album.
Kayfabe Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Murder City, Chump, One For The Razorbacks, Deadbeat Holiday.. it depends; I can't deny that I don't skip songs. You skip Murder City, Chump and Deadbeat Holiday?!??!?! I honestly don't know how you can call yourself a green day fan :0 :0 :0RestWelcome to ParadiseWarningExtraordinary GirlViva La Gloria (Little Girl)Last Ride InWhy does everyone always say Take Back? I love that song. The first two= I guess i can understand they have gotten old for me too I sometimes skip basket case (gasp)It took me a while to get used to #3 but i realised a while back it was a gem#4= WHAT??? I don't understand at all but w/eThis one's a marmite isn't it... I love it though
Peel Slowly And See Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 isn't marmite like a terrible peanut butter or something
Kayfabe Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Reject, Prosthetic Head, Last Night on Earth, Song of the Century.I wouldn't skip track one. I find its like part 1 of 21st century breakdown the song as opposed to a different track altogether
Hermione Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 No marmite is neither peanut butter nor terrible. It is a delicious spread. The first two= I guess i can understand they have gotten old for me too I sometimes skip basket case (gasp)It took me a while to get used to #3 but i realised a while back it was a gem#4= WHAT??? I don't understand at all but w/eThis one's a marmite isn't it... I love it thoughI'm more shocked by the fantastic Little Girl being mentioned in this thread . Blasphemy!
Kayfabe Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Last ride in, Espionage, Take back, On the wagon, Misery, Castaway, Peacemaker and East Jesus Nowhere.I have never heard Espionage or On the Wagon (call me pathetic, call me what you will) but Last Ride In, Take Back, Misery Castaway and East Jesus nowhere are fucking diamonds. Why the hell would you skip them????
Peel Slowly And See Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I can imagine the reaction if they ever decided to play Christian's Inferno."This song's called Christian's Inferno!!"*tumble weed slowly rolls by*I really don't understand hate hate for this song. It's actually pretty damn good.Take Back, however, is not.
Hermione Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 I really don't understand hate hate for this song. It's actually pretty damn good.I think.........people are copying each other in this thread
Kayfabe Posted July 21, 2009 Posted July 21, 2009 Well I only ever listen to my ipod and on Green Day shuffle, but some of their songs I normally skip are:- Letterbomb- Wake Me Up When September Ends- Christian's Inferno- Last Ride In- Take Back- Jesus of Suburbia- My GenerationI actually just skip a lot of songs until I find one I feel like listening to haha. But those ones are pretty common for me to NOT listen to (I still have yet to actually listen to Letterbomb!)You have not listened to Letterbomb? I feel sorry for you.Am I the only one who likes Last Ride In?! No way.One For The RazorbacksNo One KnowsHaving A BlastEmenius SleepusStuart And The Ave.Westbound SignTight Wad HillDeabeat HolidayJackassExtraordinary GirlWake Me Up When September EndsEDIT: I know that's a lot, but I have a 4gb ipod and can only have so much music on it.
