Something hardcore, like a whole album of songs like Platypus, Take Back and even Jaded.

Wouldn't mind some more mellow songs in between, but in my opinion I think we've had enough side projects from them, and a hardcore punk one would be the only other side project I'd want, although it's not going to happen.

Just keep giving us more Green Day and I'm happy!

Although I don't really know my views on another side project, a different music type would be interesting. Yet, I still think they should stick with punk, but who knows, maybe they will sound even better with a newer style that we haven't heard from them before.

I voted for post-grunge.... i think it would be pretty nice... billie joe said in one interview that they were influenced a lot by bands like nirvana.... but i'd prefer to sound something "lighter" from green day.. just like the foo fighters

it would be my DREAM if they went back to their roots and did some simple 3 chord punk music. or ska punk, operation ivy sound. i think the possibility of that is VERY slim though...
