I'm convinced after being on stage with them, I won't be meeting them every again.

I'm incredibly greatful for my expirience, but I still want to meet them, and actually introduce myself and shit, other than just making a fool of myself on stage with my bad singing and shit.

Almost an hour after Green Day stopped playing, we were about to leave the venue, then a guy came up and offered us one VIP after party pass. His friend came and gave him another (which was lucky because Brie was with me) and we did some haggling and got both for $20 dollars because we told him about how long we've been fans and how we met from a GD forum and stuff. They got us into a VIP after party where Billie, Mike, Adrienne, Jason F., and Jason W. were, along with Mike's daughter and more family and friends of the guys.

For the show I'm going to in two days, I'm actually (for ONCE in my life) one of those "lucky people" that have been given passes for a soundcheck party before the concert. This was done through a radio contest though. I had a gut feeling I could win them, but every hour I'd try and lose a little more hope. It wasn't until the VERY last hour that I finally managed to get picked! I've never been to a soundcheck party before but it seems really cool because it's supposed to be very few people I've heard?

My friends aunt works for the company that does concerts in london and is one of the organisy people so she gets free concert tickets and backstage passes but when my friend went to a green day show it was the night they also did the foxboro hottubs show in london so by the time he got backstage they had left

during last year's tour, when verizon was the sponsor. a guy was standing by the verizon tour bus, asking for people who received a call. apparently, it was winners of soundcheck passes. lol i was like yeah i got a call..and the guy asked me my name...i walked away lmfao. and that contest wasn't really advertised on GDA. i wish contests like that were on the site, would've been helpful/

I think they do radio contests, or the sponsors of the shows, last year I won a soundcheck pass from the sponsor radio of the concert. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER

I had to skip my classes for it and woke up at 6 a.m to listen to the radio xD But it was sooooo worth it

I know someone whose husband works for the company that supplies the guitar to Frank Turner and we got backstage pages for the Lancashire Cricket Club show.

But Green Day were arses and said only they could distribute the passes. Dicks.

I won after party passes for Wembley. But I had to leave after like forty minutes or i'd have been stranded ;( no idea if the band went in there, I highly doubt it though. Mcfly walked past me though lol

My dad embarrassed me to death when he tried to get me afterparty or VIP passes after the Paris show. I'm willing to do just about anything for those and I wouldn't shy away quickly if the opportunity would arise, but here it was clear that it was impossible and he kept pushing and using retarded arguments and it was just SO embarrassing.

I got soundcheck passes last year at the GD show in Missouri. It was because we got there so early and I was keeping up with the thread about the soundcheck passes and knew about the verizon bus and knew to stand by it around 3pm and wait for a dude named Chris.
