Mar Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Maybe they should cover Stephen Colbert's song in concert...LOL!THIS. I would love to see them cover any song Stephen has done. I think they could do a lot with Charlene (I'm Right Behind You)!I know it's a big song and that it wasn't uncommon, but the one song I would've liked to have heard live was "Wake Me Up When September Ends", which they aren't playing at this tour. I realize it's an emotionally charged song for Billie, but on a selfish level, I'd love to hear it! I can't complain though, I heard "Macy's Day Parade" live, possibly one of my favorite songs of theirs, if not ever!I wouldn't mind "Poprocks and Coke", "Lettebomb", "Homecoming", and "Whatsername" either.
Guitardude Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 governator XD i wanna hear mike sing. or american eulogy.i dont know why some people think that all the new albums suck but the "old" albumsare great!?!?! all of their songs ROCK
Snorri Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 It's impossible to choose one song but I would love to hear them play Fashion Victim It's one of my favorite songs. It would also be awesome to hear J.A.R. or Brat
a1000brokenhearts Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 i'm dying to see them play only of you live when i see them. that would be awesome. other than that... maybe too much too soon as i like this one a lot. or homecoming just for tré's part . oh, or paper lanterns. or no one knows. some old songs, plz.
MascaraTears Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 there are quite a few... homecoming, whatsername, either of the viva la glorias, peacemaker, she's a rebel... maybe haushinka too, or scattered. oh and letterbomb!
a1000brokenhearts Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 there are quite a few... homecoming, whatsername, either of the viva la glorias, peacemaker, she's a rebel... maybe haushinka too, or scattered. oh and letterbomb!oh yeah, i forgot whatsername and letterbomb . they should also play more songs from 21stCB. why don't they play for 4 hours or something to play them all? lol
Clockwise Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I honestly would have said Christie Road but Friday night by some miracle they played that I'm almost positive it's my favorite Green Day song. If I had to choose one I haven't hard live it would have to be.....Going to Pasalaqua
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 Only one? Meh, impossible.I could go with 2, though. As long as I don't think too much about it. (and a couple of the songs I really wanna hear are always in the setlist anyway )Too Much Too Soon, because it's a freaking awesome song and unless I completely missed something, they've never played it live. (which isn't a surprise since it's a b-side)And Wake Me Up When September Ends. It's an awesome song, plus the song that got me into Green Day, and still the only song that got me hooked immediatly. (there are other songs who did that too, but then I was already expecting something great.)But there are loads of other songs I'd love to hear live too.
