Rbka Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 they certainly want to light it up again!Oh, Ohio <3 And I thought we had problems...
iLozza! Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 PR holds about 30000, for a gig that would go down to 20-25000? they could fill that.Good team? sunderland, didn't you say? That'd be an alright concert. So yeah, Green Day should play at Portman Road, Ipswich. And yes, nothing wrong with supporting my home team is it? btw, we're in the premiership, I'm fairly sure you're not

Drew Holiday Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Green Day needs to come to Jacksonville, Florida again.I missed them the first time during the AI tour only because I was 11 at the time and my dad was unaware I liked Green Day.
Chelsea Hotel Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 NEW JERSEY.They played Giants Stadium in 2005...but that's it. I know they came to Holmdel to PNC Bank Arts Center in 2002 with pop Disaster, and they have to come back around for the next US leg of this tour. Oh, and when I say New Jersey, I don't mean Atlantic City, or Jersey City, or Camden, okay? Those places are too far away (South Jersey? Oh, Green Day! You could do so much better!) and they're all too rough to be at night. I can't tell you how many times I've campaigned to go see a band in Camden, and my mother always tells me it's too rough in the city. They have to come to Holmdel next time they tour the US. Or, even better, there's a theater in Morristown that hosts bands/musical acts. It's nice and intimate and, what do you know, I live half an hour away! Or they could set up in the baseball field down the street from my house and have an outdoor festival.
4whatsername8 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I'm going to be a loser and say my home-town of Cleveland. Why the hell shouldn't they play there?! Cleveland is the home of rock n' roll!! Actually, I think it'd be awesome if they played right outside the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Or I always thought it would be kinda cool if they played at an amusement park.

Or I always thought it would be kinda cool if they played at an amusement park. They could play at the abandoned Sea World/Geauga Lake! But yes, I would easily travel to the Cleve to see them! Too bad there's nowhere outside of the R&R HoF where they could really play, because that would be cool! Browns Stadium next door? Amtrak parking lot across the Shoreway haha? Oh, Cleveland, I love you!
ocean_avenue Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 Slovenia.Haven't been here in over 10 years. [since 1998]
Banan Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Lerkendal Stadium in Trondheim, Norwayhttp://www.universitetsavisa.no/getfile.ph...rkendal_350.jpghttp://static.panoramio.com/photos/original/2225832.jpg (from an A-ha concert) They always play in Oslo or Kristiansand, but Trondheim has a great soccer stadium that works great for concerts! Iron Maiden played here last year, I couldn't go because i was in sweden, but my cousin said it was amazing! Many other band have also played there, and if Green Day would play there too sometime, that would have been awesome! AND it's only 10 minutes from my house, so if i can't go i can just hear the whole concert from my bedroom window
lexington Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Bucharest, Romania they never played in Romania before.but other good artists did :- Metallica - Michael Jackson- Beyonce- Depeche Mode- Placebo- The Killers- Eminem- Shakira- Madonnaso they really should try Romania
milica. Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 uum... serbia maybe?! since the nearest country they had a gig was in slovenia like 10 years ago... enough?!

sampy Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Helsinki, Finland1. Last time when they'd gig here was on Insomniac tour in 19952. When they're touring in Europe, and Northern Europe, they're having gigs in our neigbour countries; Sweden, Norway and Denmark. That's fucking crazy. We all finnish GD-fans need to go to some of those countries to see our favorite band.3. There's thousands of GD-fans in Finland, so why they've forgotten us? =(4. There is big olympic stadium for guys, there has been big acts like Bon Jovi, Metallica, Rolling Stones etc.5. Other big acts had been here in nowadays; Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Metallica was here 3 times in this summer, we had Slipknot, Linkin Park, Mötley Crüe, etc. So why not Green Day?That's my list, hopefully we'll get our favorite guys here in 2010 tour =)
The Malcontented One Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Sunderland ,, England They can play at the Stadium of Light if they wanted a large venue (seats 49, 000) , which they probably would.Or they could play at Independent if they wanted an intimate gig. And it would be really nice to hear a good band play somewhere thats not Newcastle for a change (the Stadium of Light is much better than St James' park anyway)
Robin105 Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 They have never played Shea Stadium. Well it's Citifield now I think
Mar Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I enjoy how I'm saying they should play in a city that's two hours away from me, and where my area was covered this tour, while everyone else is just wishing they'd visit their COUNTRY. I feel bad because I realize how lucky I am!
The Muffin Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Slovenia.Haven't been here in over 10 years. [since 1998] :woot: Se popolnoma strinjam.
Sweet Armataged Chump Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 ^Well he has a point about the UK and Germany, we really shouldn't complain since they play loads here and we're small countries so it's much easier to travel. We're spoiled really. I'll save my complaining for the Foxies Oh yeah one place I'd like them to play (other than my local pub) is that small town Billie's wife's from that they used to play a lot in the early days, Mankato. Some people from the town are trying to get Green Day to play there again for old times sake, they have a little campaign going. I think it's really cool and I hope they get their wish one day, they'd deserve it I AGREE. Mankato isn't small at all. It's actually a metro. Can you tell me more about this campaigning? EDIT: found more with google http://katotainment.blogspot.com/2009/05/day-2-green-day-campaign-find-adrienne.html I also thought this is a cool thread to bump.
iRun Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Syracuse NY, either at the Great NYS fair or the Carrier Dome, or maybe Alliance Bank Stadium!
converse_punk14 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I think Green Day should come to the Northern part of Indiana. Seems like they haven't been here in awhile. I would love to see them
miamiredhawk827 Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Columbus... They haven't been here since 2005, and they've only played in the state of Ohio once since then and that was at the Rock Hall stuff... I've been waiting for 7 years and counting for them to come back!!!
