Mar Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 I'm not complaining per se that they didn't come here, but I find it strange that they skipped Ohio on this tour. They filled up the Palace quite nicely, I'm sure they could've filled up the Q in Cleveland or Value City in Columbus! I saw a number of Cleveland cars in the parking lot in Detroit, and it seemed silly that they didn't have a show there.Cleveland is notoriously known as the "mistake on the lake", but it's really not as bad as everyone thinks. After all, Cleveland Rocks! It's a good spot where you can attract Cleveland and Akron metro area people, and maybe even people in the Youngstown and Toledo areas (I know I'd have gone to a Cleveland show rather than/in addition to a Detroit show). A lot of artists make Cleveland a stop on their tours, and as long as you don't drink the tap water, you should be fine. The Cuyahoga River hasn't caught fire in 40 years!

We get skipped over by all kinds of bands/great tours, it sucks.I really can't afford to leave the state to see them play, and although there aren't really any large venues in Albuquerque to host the massive number of GD fans, it's not like there aren't any cities in which they could play. Haha no, I know I recommended that they visit the Cleve, but I should add that as an asterisk...not on the lovely cesspool of oil and dead birds from leaking cooking oil that is the Cuyahoga River! The Q would do fine!

I know Greek people would LOVE them. Especially Tre and his craziness.
