GarinRichards Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 are all the hoodies $85? which ones did they have?Same here. If anyone has a nice list/ descrip of what they have seen hoodiewise it would be nice. And sizes anyone?I'm kind of a big guy and I don't want to find out the hard way... >>Again, thank you everyone for contributing to this thread. I now have a lot of info for how much cash I'm taking
Harriet Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I have standing tickets and I plan buying a lot of merch before the show... but I will have no where to put it so will probably have to buy after when there's nothing left
watsername182 Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I'll probably buy merch at the second show I'm going to since I'm sitting for that one.But if they're selling a separate shirt for each show instead of having all the dates on one than I guess I'll have to have my fingers crossed that they still have my size for the show that I'm moshing at.
TomDB Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 I hope the UK merch is on the store after the shows
jose armstrong Posted August 3, 2009 Posted August 3, 2009 Ha, GDA was Bop magazine's Fan Site of the Month once, and they asked me for like, a quote. I told them something and they changed it around and made me sound like I was 13. I'm sorry but that sucks, seriously.what was the quote?
Danny of Suburbia Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Shit. $35 is way too steep, but I don't wan to walk away empty handed seeing how it's my first time seeing GD and all. I'm kinda on the fence about it.
GarinRichards Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 another question. Are the merch booths always crowded?
tvrman Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 If you read Slash's bio then there is a story about how his clothing got stolen when he was in the shower. He was able to get clothed for a radio interview and that nights concert from merchandising stalls. So if you know you are going to buy merchandise esp clothing then just go to the gig wearing eg only a vest + shorts and then putting on what you buy. Even a hoodie can be tied around the waist when it gets too hot.The hard bit is instructing your mother/wife/GF/Partner how to wash it - boys & girls I do not launder so do not go there.tvrmanP.S always have a permanent marker in your pocket - jic.
Mar Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 I have like 3 wristbands from Claire's that I stole; they were five bucks! and I have one that I bought when I saw Green Day in '05. All of the writing came off but I still wear it.I have a wristband too, except mine was from Hot Topic and I gave them my money! I didn't wear it for years, and then three weeks ago before my concert I found it in my dresser...appropriate timing!
Danny of Suburbia Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 Fuck the pricetag. I couldn't resist getting a shirt last night. Got the one with the date and city on the back.
fashionvictim86 Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 another question. Are the merch booths always crowded?Pfft, who knows. That's probably why I didn't get to see that damn Philly shirt. DAMMIT. I guess I'll just have to wait awhile till some idiot sells theirs on eBay. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be crowded during the show.....but who wants to go out then just to get merch? I always get it last, because I don't wanna hold the stuff while I'm in the pit.
farley drexel hatcher Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 I hope the shirts aren't any more than £25 in the UK. I really want one but i'll have to pass if they're anymore than that. Also the good side to having seats is being able to get merch before the show.

I really want one but i'll have to pass if they're anymore than that. Also the good side to having seats is being able to get merch before the show. They won't be, usually will be £20 and IMO thats what they'll be, but you may have some apparent special ones for £25
Fink Posted August 5, 2009 Posted August 5, 2009 That white hoodie someone posted before was only $40 in Nashville... made me want it really bad but I opted for the specific show shirt instead.

VanessaAyukawa Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Question about the tour shirts, can anyone tell me if they are the slim-fit style or the regular boxy cut? Does anyone else notice a difference? My friends think I am crazy!
Samantha Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 They have both, but the regular tour shirts with the dates on them are normal-sized
Velocity Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Question about the tour shirts, can anyone tell me if they are the slim-fit style or the regular boxy cut? Does anyone else notice a difference? My friends think I am crazy!Well, the ones that are meant for women are slim-fit. But the regular unisex ones are pretty big.

I now have a lot of info for how much cash I'm taking OK well at the MSG show there were two different hoodies. both with zippers in the frontOne is black with silver print with the Class of 13 logo on the front and says Green Day on the back in the 21CBD font and the guys silloettes. The other has the 21CBD cover on the back and the front has GD written in huge red letters, pretty badassAs for sizes the the latter one ran a little smaller than the other.Hope that helped
