And to answer more of the initial question... I wasn't even raising my hand. Billie finished singing the first chorus of Longview, and then all of a sudden said "who knows the words to this song?" and then, before anyone even had time to respond, he pointed at me and said "do you know how to sing this song?"

Same exact thing for me! He was kind of looking at me all throughout the show, or at least in my direction, and then asked if i knew the words to Longview so i gave him a thumbsup. And that was completely it. i didn't have to freak out when he asked if anyone knew the words.

I already have social anxiety disorder, so I think that coupled with being within pinching distance of Billie, plus being gawked and screamed at by thousands of people would probably be enough to make me pass out within the first 5 seconds of being on stage.

I'd much rather stay in the front row and watch other people have that opportunity.

i would rather sing/dance in front of 20,000 people than in front of billie joe. the crowd didn't bother me at all, it was just billie watching me and talking in my ear every 5 seconds. i kept thinking "SHUT UP!!" he was making me so goddamn nervous!

I would definitely go up on stage if I had the chance, it's a once in a lifetime opportunity! There's plenty of chances to be at the barrier, but imagine the thousands of people at the show...and you get chosen. There's just something amazing about that, I wouldn't be able to pass it up.

I think alot of people's nerves would go out the window once they're up on stage. You're practically running on adrenaline

Same, because normally I don't sing in front of anyone! But I'd definitely do it in front of 15,000 random Green Day fans

If I was pulled up, I would probably get a little dizzy or something. Something would definitely be wrong with me

But I hope one day I can experience that.

I would DEFINITELY GO ON STAGE! I would sing and run over to Mike and dance and go to BIllie and I don't know! I would freak the fuck out haha :D

Green Day hasn't been calling people up to play drums so far on this tour... just singing and guitar.

Oh man. Well let's hope they start. I'm seeing one of the last shows of the tour.

I'd only agree to go on stage if it guaranteed the attention you got.

HAHA So it would require an ass-ream?

This is tricky I mean for all the gigs I've been to I have had seats.

I love watching a show. Being fun sized is potentail for getting crushed and covered in beer and has happened at many a MCR concert.

However for my first Green Day gig I got standing.

So if I have the balls to get stuck in then sure I think being on stage would be awkward like what would you do?

I hate having to dance...but if it means to share the stage with a band I've loved ofr along time then sure!

I would love to get up on stage, but unfortunately I don't have floor seats. They all sold out in the presale, I guess.

Yeah me too. Except I got seats because I'm too short to see in GA  A lesson well learnt at My Chem.

I actually had this whole plan to get pulled up on stage.

But it didn't work out.

But it didn't matter.

At first he asked if anyone wanted to come sing. I thought about it, then I raised my hand and Billie looked at me. He walked down the catwalk thing and asked some people down there, then came back to me, pointed to a few other people, then pointed to me and said "Do you know the words?" and I was like "YES-nods really fast and smiles big-" I didn't actually think they would pull me up but all of a sudden he was like "Okay, get her ass on stage" and the security people pulled me out. xD

When I was up there singing, I wouldn't look up cause I knew if I looked up I would see all the people and people make me nervous and I did a bad enough job.

But at least I remembered the words and I didn't crap myself or squeeze Billie to death.

:D

And I was conscious this time.

It was totally worth ditching the squishy crowd, even though they were the ones holding me up xD, for the back. I was just showed out and I joined some random people in the back. It's totally worth it D:
