Isabel Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 I'd say go on stage. I mean, yeah, its awesome to be in the front row, but how many chances are you gonna get to be on stage and pretty much meet Green Day? But considering the policy of putting those brought up on stage right back where they were in the audience the guards have been implementing as of late, it appears you can have your cake and eat it too.I thought that was only the people who specifically asked to go back to their spot. It's actually a new policy now, is it?
Ila Reto Posted August 31, 2009 Posted August 31, 2009 definately front row, as much as being up on stage with the guys would be, im afraid of stage diving afterwards. plus, i wouldn't take the chance of losing my spot =]
Savannah Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I would go onstage. Only because I don't think I'd ever have the chance to interact with them again. So I'd go up onstage, sing/dance/do whatever, then I would go to each and shake hands, kiss on the cheek, etc. after. It would be so ultimately epic! Plus, I would just push my way back to my seat. No one's going to stop me from seeing them!! Plus I'm short and I need the front row haha.
leacalifornia Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 definately onstage...Plus I'm short and I need the front row haha.hooray for short people!!!xD
leacalifornia Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 tall people who are in front of you are annoying.. xD
Aurora Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 you've always got a chance to go to another show, but really how many chances are you going to get to go on stage?
Rebel07 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 on stage! i got to do it once, i would for sure try to again! tall people who are in front of you are annoying.. xDand i know how that feels :/ it is very annoying.i'm about 5'3 if i'm lucky, and i gotta have the front at shows. sometimes guys that are actually nice notice that i can't see over them and they let me go in front of them. theres very few that are that way though, most guys at shows are d-bags.
heartscollide Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 omg I forgot to mention, I would totally ruffle Billie's hair if I came close. He reminds me of a lion...tall people who are in front of you are annoying.. xDYes!I'd most likely die if I wasn't in front.
sarita Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I was against the barricade for the show in San Antonio and my friend that got to go up got to just jump back over the rail when he was done and back into his spot, so he got the best of both worlds. I also noticed during that show that Sarah got put back in her spot too, as did someone else, but I dont remember which show or which person it was. Also, the girl in Houston who sang for Longview made it back to her spot. People just let her back in and up front, congradulating her the who time.Yes, the crowd surfed me back to my spot, so that was cool! I think that was luck, though. Everybody was congratulating me and happy for me, so I did get the best of both worlds
karma1215 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I would be content in the front row... especially if it were my first show.
JHyena86 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I may be strange, but I'd have to say keep my spot in the front. Stage is cool and all, but I'd probably have a nervous breakdown or something (I blanked on the lyrics to Longview when opportunity presented itself and I don't play guitar). I was the first person in the pit at the Houston show, thanks to soundcheck, and I had the BEST place in the pit. I was right in front of Mike, and durning the show he would lean over an talk to me and stuff, an at the end gave me his water bottle. Billie came really close too. I felt more involved in the show because of my placement than I would have had a I been on stage. I wouldn't have traded that for anything...Of course, if Mike had chosen someone to play bass for JoS or something then MAYBE I woulda gone up...maybe
MusicalDeviant Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 Plus I'm short and I need the front row haha.Fuckin' AMEN!Nothing's worse then being stuck behind tall people during a rock concert. My parents think I'm crazy for going so early to stand in line for shows, but my parents are average height, and I'm below average. And I have to make time sacrifices in order to make my below-average height work for me.
music_that_is Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 On stage to play a song/sing/dance.<------------------- My answer you lucky basdard!
Harriet Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 On stage definitely! It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, and if I got picked to play drums at a Green Day show that would be indescribable! Plus people seem to be getting their spot back afterwards anyways, we don't have to choose anymore
MassHysteria Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 you lucky basdard!I agree, it totally was luck
Savannah Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Fuckin' AMEN!Nothing's worse then being stuck behind tall people during a rock concert. My parents think I'm crazy for going so early to stand in line for shows, but my parents are average height, and I'm below average. And I have to make time sacrifices in order to make my below-average height work for me.ahaha! yay for someone sharing my short problem! My mom is pretty tall too, and I just didn't get that from her either. I always have a knack for getting put next to either someone ridiculously drunk, high, tall, etc. as well. So next time, floor tickets and I'm getting there WAY early. Had side stage for the concert on August 20th, kinda liked the seats though.
Mar Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 On stage, definitely. I would probably have a chance to see the band again at a later date and get an ok spot, but I think being pulled up onstage would be a once in a lifetime thing, and it would be a fantastic story to tell with great bragging rights!
Khaleesi. Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I just went straight to my original spot at the barrier after I was on stage.
Luke.London Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Stage !Especially when you see them twice. You´ve got two chances to have a perfect place to stay and see them. And these chances are much higher than get pulled on stage I did a banner to play the guitar, what´ya mean ? When I show it to Billie during the soundcheck and show my chances to get pulled on stage will increase Printed on 1x05m paper.Sincerely,Luke
Eighty. Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I was in the front row and I though about that before the show and I planned say him I can't jump or something to return to my place some girls in madrid came in are we the waiting and they returned to their places
parinaz Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 please keep ourselves in the very very front show but not on stage. leave it for the band.bad billie
LearnToForget Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 i thought about that as well, actually...but came to the conclusion that i wouldnt dare to go up on stage... im such a chicken... DX
Sara. Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 I would definitely like to be pulled up on stage if I got the opertunity. I just saw them live and I stood in the front row the whole concert, it was awesome! but you create a even better memory if you go on stage!
