R&R: would you say that the song 21st century breakdown, not only gave the name to the record but it also gave the color to it?

BJ:I think so. When we wrote it, we recorded a 4 track demo and then we thought in an Irish theme. We read all the lyrics of the album and we realised that there was a topic. "21st century breakdown" describes very well everything that has happened to us in the last five or ten years, so we thought it was the perfect definition of the album.

I will go on translating tomorrow
