Sharmellow Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I've always wanted to know why Billie chose the song title Do Do Da? Anyone have any ideas why?
iLozza! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I've always wanted to know why Billie chose the song title Do Do Da? Anyone have any ideas why? I dunno, but all I know that it was supposed to be called stuck with me, but that and the original do do da got mixed up, so the names got swapped around.Or something like that, anyway.
...staples? Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Also, 409 In Your Coffeemaker. What's 409?It's a cleaning product. Stuffs amazing I use it all the time!
buttcrackzachhhh Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I've always wanted to know why Billie chose the song title Do Do Da? Anyone have any ideas why? It's because the beginning riff sounds like Do Da Da.I'm assuming.
Isabel Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I dunno, but all I know that it was supposed to be called stuck with me, but that and the original do do da got mixed up, so the names got swapped around.Or something like that, anyway.Yeah, Do Da Da was originally meant to be called Stuck With Me apparently, but then it changed and it's a B side on the Brain Stew/Jaded single.I always knew about Armatage Shanks...I remember taking a picture of my toilet during my foolish days. But I thought Bab's Uvula Who was named after Tre randomly choosing a song title. Didn't know about the sketch thing.
Heather! Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 There's a street called Longview in a neighboring town and I always drive down it when I'm there I love that Platypus is called... Platypus. Nothing at all to do with the song.
dustyn808 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 This might just be me being stupid, but what does longview mean? I take it it's not a real word...Also, 409 In Your Coffeemaker. What's 409? I think I heard somewhere that it's some kind of laxative, and it was referring to a prank played on a teacher, which would make sense. Anyone know if this is true? It's a cleaning agent as said before but my guess is that it would kill the teacher if she/he drank a cup full of it!
McBeth Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 It's a cleaning product. Stuffs amazing I use it all the time! It's a cleaning agent as said before but my guess is that it would kill the teacher if she/he drank a cup full of it!Ah right. I guess it never actually happened then. Unless GD has some dark teacher-killing past we don't know about...
Katarina. Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Ha, this is a great thread! I was wondering what some of the titles meant as well
Deniz. Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 i always wonder, why Poprocks & Coke calls Poprocks & Coke .. does anybody know?
Devan Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 When you mix poprocks and coke, they're supposed to explode.I'm sure that has nothing to do with the song itself...Just Billie naming a song with whatever entered his mind, probably..
...staples? Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Wow.My aunt's brother went to Europe and took a picture of the toliet And I thought it was appropriate for this thread
Nova-Caine Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 ^^Yup they're in just about every public toilet over here Tbf though I always smirk still to this day whenever I see it

Guest TwoDollarMellie Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Off topic, but whenever I see the words "Eminius Sleepus", it reminds me of something I'd hear in Harry Potter.
Isabel Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 ^^Yup they're in just about every public toilet over here Tbf though I always smirk still to this day whenever I see it Every single time I see it, I think of Armatage Shanks
Supermodel*Robot Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 Off topic, but whenever I see the words "Eminius Sleepus", it reminds me of something I'd hear in Harry Potter. Same here. Like you should just be waving a wand around and chanting it.
