Library Girl Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Too much too soonLights OutShoplifterThe Ballad of Wilhelm Fink (it wasn't really a b-side, wasn't it? They recorded it for a punk compliation, nevertheless I love it!)
American Basket Case Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hard to narrow it down. I'll say Favorite Son, Shoplifter, I Fought the Law, & Too Much Too Soon. (At least those are my favorite's today )
Ila Reto Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 i know this may sound terrible, but Favorite Son might have been my favorite song of all time, if the lyrics were different.let me put it this way, if green day were to release a new song, with those same vocals and music, that would be my favorite song in the world. and you know i can't pick favorites normally. Lights Out is really getting to me though, very catchy.
porksoda Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Time to revive the fuck out of this thread! I've been really into "Hearts Collide" lately. I've had the song forever, but only listened to it once when it first was released and wasn't too into it. I listened to it again a few days ago and I love it.
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I love Hearts Collide, Suffocate, Rotting, On The Wagon, Espionage, their cover of Tired Of Waiting For You.... and others. Lights Out and Favorite Son are good too. And Do Da Da.
.Holly Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I love Hearts Collide, Suffocate, Rotting, On The Wagon, Espionage, their cover of Tired Of Waiting For You.... and others. Lights Out and Favorite Son are good too. And Do Da Da. So nearly all of them, My favourites are Hearts Collide and Favourite Son (what a tune!)
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 So nearly all of them, Haha, pretty much! Green Day songs just make me happy in general, so..... it's too hard to choose!
Tooooooooooooom Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Too Much Too Soon or Favorite Son. Incidently my favorite song off Shenanigans is Ha Ha You're Dead, which was never a B-Side I don't think?
localinsomniac Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Yay thread revival! It's a toss-up between Favorite Son and Suffocate.
abattlecry Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Too Much Too Soon is one of my all-time favorite Green Day songs, I don't understand why it was a B-Side. It's so good.
TheNimrod51 Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Suffocate by far. It's actually one of my favorite songs.
Blond-O-Sonic Shimmer Trap Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Rotting, it's Billie-Joe's dreary delivery that makes it, perfectly matches the tone of the song.
BradGreenDay Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 When i first got Shenanigans i really loved Don't Wanna Fall In Love...
That Dude Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 A Quick One While He's Away. I could listen to this song all day and night.
Malleus Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Suffocate and Scumbag. Both could/should have been A-sides.
Homero Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Hearts Collide, Desensitized... I can't think of anything else now
