Obviously I know that much, but does it sound similar to the actual one, or is it slower, faster, mumbled, etc.

it sounds exacly like the actual one, but lower

It's VERY quiet. I sat in a silent room, with headphones on and the volume up really loud so I could hear it, haha.

I hear a chicken "cluck" in Warning.

Where is that? I've heard about that before but never caught it while listening to the song.

I might try that, so! :P

In 'Christian's Inferno,' after Billie sings, 'Return man to ape,' and the chorus is about to kick in, does anyone hear a squeak? It sorta sounds like a bike tire or something.

I've listened to it multiple times on differernt equipment to make sure it wasn't just my CD player. It's there, but I don't know what the hell it is, or if anyone else has noticed it.

Even then I can't hear it.

I tried listening to it at the quietest environment I could think of (my room at 1am), the only sound was the buzzing of my computer, and that was like 4 or 5m away, volume as loud as possible, and I could still only hear something that might've been "go a-"

I like the 'what you will' part in Longview best. Does that even count? Ahh well.

I'm not being facetious, but I actually can't hear it. All I hear is "Call me pathetic, call me what you will" (some guy sings it in harmony at the same time) then meow like noise

That guy is thier friend "eggplant" (dont know why they call him that) They brought him into the studio just so he could say that, because when they played longview at Gillman Street, he'd always say it during that part.

i expert :P

This might have already been mentionaed, but did anyone notice the high pitched noise in Maria, i think its somewhere after the bridge in the last verse and it has to be up loud. or it might just be my CD, but i doubt it.

Yeah, I think someone mentioned that further back up somewhere :)

I read somewhere that Eggplant was his actual name, but I really can't imagine that being true

I think it's just bass. He picks it hard and it gives it this treblely tone, kinda sounding like a cluck. I highly doubt Green Day brought a chicken into the studio while they were recording Warning. Although it seems like something Tre would do.

I'm listening to my iPod with headphones on and at the end of On The Wagon you can hear someone say "Hold on" I think it's Billie. It's in the last couple seconds.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before...

The bit that sounds like a baby crying is actually a friend of the band calling out "what you will!" in a really high voice.

Like Billie says "Call me what you will", so the guy calls him "what you will!" :D

Does anone else hear the chimp noise from about 1:20 - 1:21 in Christian's Inferno?

You mean the thing that sounds like someone saying "wah-wah-wah" really quickly?

I can't hear those chicken clucks in Warning. I've listened to it with the headphones on full blast in a silent room, and I still can't hear it :/
