VivaLaAla Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I don't know if this has been said yet...but when Tre is singing Rock N' Roll Girlfriend, he sings, "I havn't drank or smoke nothing in over 22 days..."Right after the word 'nothing' Billie yells, "Don't wanna be an american idiot!"It's obvious everytime I hear it now that I found it. xDEDIT: Nevermind, I just saw that it was already posted. (:

Heather! Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 I FINALLY heard the first "Here we go again" in Going to Pasalacqua. I love the part in You Lied where Billie says "awww, get out" before the guitar "solo" bit. Always sing along to it, haha.
Ayame Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I FINALLY heard the first "Here we go again" in Going to Pasalacqua. I don't hear it ><In Give Me Novacaine, at 1:56 you can hear someone coughing.Er, all the others I know are mentioned, I think.
shoegazeloser Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 I can't hear "here we go again" at the beginning of Going to Pasalacqua. Just a cough and then the song begins.
stuart telegraph Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 how about the end of hitchin a ride...billie is saying "hitchin a ride" over and over and in the background mike is saying somehting but it isnt important...i wanna no the last 4 or 5 words billie says...he stops singing "hitchin a ride" and goes like gibberish verison but like "said a would and a would could" obvously that is retarded and wrong but does anyone no what im tlking about?while watching a live performance (don't remember which) it sounded like "say one thing, one thing" but still not entirely sure
Starred Thoughts Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Potentially mentioned, but I think it's Billie who laughs at the end of Too Much Too Soon.cute <3
Maddy. Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 while watching a live performance (don't remember which) it sounded like "say one thing, one thing" but still not entirely sureI thought it was: "Only one way, one way"But I could be wrong
thisisAB Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 I didn't hear it the first few times but I'm guessing it's sorta obvious, the 1,2,3,4 in Stuck With Me at 1:48-1:49 I think. Also in 80 the way Billie says love sounds like 'blaew' lol. (Not a background noise, I know)I dunno if this is cool or whatever, just two sounds in two songs that sound sorta similar: 0:29 in My Generation and 2:40 in Desensitized.Oh and at the end of F.O.D. (2:47-2:48) Tre Cool drops his drum sticks. Dunno if that's been said before.
Hermione Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 My brother only just noticed that Billie says "Geek. Stink. Breath." at the end of Geek Stink Breath. Haha
.Militza. Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 I know this is something random, but I prefer asking it here, than posting new topic. In Give me Novacaine, in second verse, does Billie says " Jimmy says it's better than air" or "...it's better than here "I know that the booklet says "here", but I can hear him say "air"And in few sites, lyrics go with "air"So, does anyone knows which one really is?
Nele Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 When Billie sings the last time "Cause it's not what you make it's what you leave" in misery you can hear Tre screaming in the background. I just noticed that...
Raychul Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 This may be irrelevant but I don't know if there's a misheard lyrics thread so I thought I'd put it here. Ok, does anyone hear in St. Jimmy when Billie sings 'I'm a teenage assassin executing some fun', my friend and I totally hear 'the teeangers are so Mexican it's not funny'; and my cousin hears in BOBD, instead of 'sometimes I wish someone out there will find me', she heard 'sometimes I wish a Mother Bear will find me. I just thought that was funny.
Sarahnade. Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Ok. I don't know if anyone will understand me, because I can't really explain this very well, but hopefully SOMEBODY knows what I'm talking about. In 'Macy's Day Parade,' near the end (I think it's right before Billie sings the last time; the end of the long acoustic guitar part,) there's this sound. It kind of sounds like a record skipping..? It's not my CD player or anything - it's just how the song goes.I'm not sure if describing it as sounding like a record skipping is the best way to explain it, but thats what it sounds like to me. I've just always noticed it, and I didn't see it mentioned, so I figured that I'd throw it out there. Haha.

I agree it sounds like 'air' but I think it's just Billie's funny way of singing This may be irrelevant but I don't know if there's a misheard lyrics thread so I thought I'd put it here. I just thought that was funny. LOL there's a high chance I'm going to think of those things every time I hear those songs now! I love how it's so easy to mishear Green Day lyrics. When I listen to BOBD I think 'I wore cologne' instead of 'I walk alone'. And in Welcome To Paradise, 'Pay attention to the cracked streets and the broken gnomes' When my mum walked in the room and heard Longview once she thought he sang 'I'm sick of all the same old chicks' and started laughing and taking the piss, saying "I'm sick of all the same old chicks, yeah right as if any chicks would be interested in him!" and scoffing. So I think of that every time too.

I know he doesn't but it honestly sounds like that's what he's saying. I hope by hearing those things now, it doesn't ruin the song for you. Haha; oh man, moms making fun of Green Day. My mom was reading the paper while I was watching the FUSE special on 21CB; unbeknowst to me, she was actually watching the show. Mike was saying something and she just throws the paper down and yells 'he's so annoying!'. I, obviously, don't agree with her but it was funny as shit.
klarushka Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 I don't know if it was already posted, but on begging of Blood, Sex and Booze I heard somethink like: "Touchdown, touchdown, do you understand me, oh shit"
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 ^ I think it's "Sit down, sit down, do you understand me?" *slap* "Ah, shit"edit: see post below
forget_me_nots Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 ^ I think it's "Sit down, sit down, do you understand me?" *slap* "Ah, shit"I always hear "head down, head down" but I dunno.
