I timed it: at 2:47 in "A Quick One," Billie, not Mike, says something that sounds like "We! Have! A-ha-ha-ha!" I remember reading somewhere that Billie recorded that cover by himself.

And I think it's Tre who does the "No! Fuck you!" at the end of "Homecoming." The whole thing goes something like: "No! Fuck you! Just go! I don't care! I don't know! I don't know! Just go! Fuck you! Just go!" I can't make out most of it, but that's the jist of it.

I've always liked the little conversation they all have before "All by Myself."

i dont know if this has been said before, but in east jesus nowhere where he sings " a fire burns today" ..right after that i hear some sort of weird backround noise that i cant even describe. It only really sticks out when i listen to it in the car but i definitely hear something

I listened for it: it sounds to me like a background vocal: "Ohh-oh." Unless you mean something else?

I remember there was a debate on some other GD forum 4 or 5 years ago about what that noise was. Someone said it was a screeching noise. I was like "Ok, are you seriously deaf? How can you hear anything other than a farting noise?!"

It's because it's not a normal farting noise, it has a horrible wet sound. It's so horrible it makes me feel sick when I hear it

don't know if this was already mentioned but in Homecoming when Tre is singing "haven't drank or smoked nothin' in over..." you can hear billie at the same time saying "don't wanna be an american idiot". i had the volume up pretty high when i heard it

That's not really a background noise (or well, it is, but not the kind this thread's about), they do that in live shows too.

Is he really though? I've heard he says that in lots of places but it doesn't sound like it to me. And when he does it live it sounds even less clear, like he's just mumbling random sounds. It's a bit of a strange sentence too, it doesn't really make sense. I think whoever decided he was saying that was wrong

No, it makes sense. It only sounds like gibberish when you're just listening to the song, not listening carefully. The whole song is about, well, blood, sex, and booze. It's obvious he'd be saying that "[he'll] show ya a real time" with the sex and booze parts (not really sure about the blood part ). I suggest listening to it again, but very closely.

OK my sister claims that in Give Me Novacaine, Billie goes "uhhh" just before the guitar solo. So he goes "Oh novacaine.....uhhh". All I hear is "Oh novacaine" and then the guitar solo.
