st.jimmy92 Posted June 29, 2009 Author Posted June 29, 2009 I agree! We need more people! A revolution isn't going to work with just two people!Cool name too.ha yess we need to start recruiting!! and we need a awesome symbol to strike fear into the hearts of all who are careless and mean
Sharmellow Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Oh, I forgot to share my story. So, I lent my International Super Hits album to one of my friends to, y'know, introduce their music. A few days later, I went over to my friend's house and she had taken the booklet apart and taped the pages onto her wall. I was like, "WTF? That's mine!"She was being an idiot, but eventually agreed to buy me another one. She did 2 months later...Oddly, we're still friends after that...
Drink Drank Punk Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 join me and Green Day Fabs revolution!!....im thinking the Platypus Gang could be a cool nameFor some reason that name makes me think of a motorcycle gang made up of fat old guys with big noses.
Hayley Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 The only thing I can think of is when my brother stepped on my AI cd, the case is now cracked.Haha I stepped on mine.So I found an empty CD case and put everything from the AI cd in that one.Good as new : D
st.jimmy92 Posted June 29, 2009 Author Posted June 29, 2009 For some reason that name makes me think of a motorcycle gang made up of fat old guys with big noses.aw come on do u get the name? we are not fat bikers with big noses!
Angela. Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Lucky I wanted one of those, my prized possession is going to be my Live At Gilman Street record. How mad though? How mad? About as mad as the guy in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amIdzw-hrqQ...feature=related Trust me, you'll know which guy I'm talking about.
Drink Drank Punk Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 aw come on do u get the name? we are not fat bikers with big noses!I know you aren't. What is here to get... Other than the fact that it's a green day song?
amy_runs Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I never let anyone touch my Green Day stuff. Not that they would want to anyway. I only personally know 2 people that like Green Day and own 21CB.

Did she maybe think you were giving it to her?
nimrod-41 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I lent a friend one of my Futurama DVD boxsets a few years back and when they returned it, the plastic case that goes around the main box was opened at the glue seam... Nothing drastic, but still very annoying...But no, no one can have my Green Day stuff.
fashionvictim86 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I tend to loan my shirts and hoodies. I usually get all of them back, except my friend who has one of my Green Day hoodies for like 2 years. :/ I have so many though I hardly notice. Anything else I loan, they know to guard with their life.
Rave Kate Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Lend my Green day Stuff??You're kidding me?I keep all green day stuff locked in my closet! With all my pocket money! he he.its damn precious to me!
Rezurgam Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 My friends never borrowed any Green Day things from me. If they did and they messed it up or something, they'd replace it.
iLozza! Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Nope, but I've snapped at least 5 of the CD cases just after I bought them, in a rush to listen y'know.None of my friends even like Green Day, haha, so I guess I'm lucky in that sense
IzButt Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 This is why I am very very very protective and bitchy about handling CDs and papers. If someone is handling one of my drawings or my CDs wrong, I'll just snap. Personal flaw I know.I once accidently left my International Superhits! at my cousin's house. Two weeks later I get it back and it's SCRATCHED TOTALLY D: fff one of my favorite CDs.EDIT: Come to think of it, it was my first Green Day CD ever. So I was really angry.Oh well me. I got it fixed but it took a long time.
Nova-Caine Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 After Uni I stored a load of my stuff in boxes in my parents loft. A couple of years later the roof leaked and my mother decided to have a clear out, she threw two of my boxes away that contained tour shirts, tickets and cassettes of mainly GD stuff and other bands. I asked why she didn't call me she said she didn't check what they were but the boxes were battered so she just dumped them in the dustbin To this day I am still mourning the loss of my stuff. When I recently broke up with my partner the first thing I took with me was my vinyl. I just don't trust anyone with my stuff any more esp GD stuff, it means the world to me.
Guest Hayley Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 That's why I never lend things that have a sentimental value to me.
jenni Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Oh geez! I can't stand when somebody touches my Green Day stuff, even if I'm next to that person... :verymad: maybe it's an extreme reaction, but actually I shout at that person... lolso I can't even imagine to lend any of my Green Day stuff...
Guest jetblackheart Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 That's why I never lend things that have a sentimental value to me.Me neither. I only lend things that can be replaced. I don't care if someone scratches my cd, I can always buy a new one. But I have a few books with the author's autograph on the front page and I'd never lend those... people tend to read books while drinking coffee etc... (My cat did chew a corner of one of those books but I can't really be mad at him.)
plasticpictureframe Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 ha yess we need to start recruiting!! and we need a awesome symbol to strike fear into the hearts of all who are careless and meanHMMM................I'm gonna go mull that over.
greendaytone Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 That's so out of order! Did your friend not even apologize?
louizex Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 aw thats a shame. my friend has some kind of problem giving things back. i left my visa card wich had £250 n it in her brothers car. i was going on holiday in 2 weeks and asked her for it every day. she gave it back to me last minute. now i notce that whenever anybody lends her, or leaves anything at her house, the chances are they wont get it back and if they do it is a lot later, no matter how much you ask. so yeh my point is even people you really think you know and trust can be really weird when you lend them stuff. i dont think anyones broken my stuff, unless you count when i was 9 and came back from holiday to dead fish.
.Brian Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Nope. I dont lend my things. And neither should you.
