I guess what they mean about KYE is lyrically it is very simple; and doesn't really show the full potential of the band

but i do agree that all of the songs are "iPod worthy" :D

Yeah, I do agree that it's very simple. But hey - that's just rock n roll!

I kind of like the simplicity of it. At first I didn't like the song, but now it's growing on me.

I think every band needs a few simple songs, as long as they're not ALL simple.

hahaha, thats what I love about Green Day; they are so versatile. They can great records with simple repetative lyrics, or deep intense records- something for everyone! :D

yup! I love how they have so many different styles. It keeps me entertained and not bored.

I also love stuff like Nimrod - although it's not my favorite anymore, I can't say it's not genius. It's like a giant mood swing. Half of the songs are about love or sadness or something, half of the songs are a big "fuck you!" :lol:

Nimrod is a good album; probably my favoruite after 21st Century Breakdown; its just so dark and intense :D
