Lauren Posted June 26, 2009 Author Posted June 26, 2009 I guess what they mean about KYE is lyrically it is very simple; and doesn't really show the full potential of the bandbut i do agree that all of the songs are "iPod worthy" Yeah, I do agree that it's very simple. But hey - that's just rock n roll! I kind of like the simplicity of it. At first I didn't like the song, but now it's growing on me.I think every band needs a few simple songs, as long as they're not ALL simple.
Spastic Socialite Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 hahaha, thats what I love about Green Day; they are so versatile. They can great records with simple repetative lyrics, or deep intense records- something for everyone!

It keeps me entertained and not bored.I also love stuff like Nimrod - although it's not my favorite anymore, I can't say it's not genius. It's like a giant mood swing. Half of the songs are about love or sadness or something, half of the songs are a big "fuck you!"
The Disappearing Boy Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 i agree with every word fo that review.

Lauren Posted June 26, 2009 Author Posted June 26, 2009 but at the same time, it's light and soft! that's what makes it so amazing! <3
