Kayfabe Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 She's a Rebel sounds pretty easy.Yes. At first I was ready to spit out a load of songs to you because I thought you were guitar... then you said voice and no 'rallying cries' (???) And a lot of the songs people have mentioned like East Jesus Nowhere use precisely that. She's a Rebel is the perfect song for your needs.I would say Hitchin' a Ride as well, but there's this one bit where he goes high in the verse (Hey mister, where ya headed/ are you in a hurry) and also in the chorus (Troubled times, you know i can not lie)But I really reccommend having a crack at hitchin', it's a very fun song.
Jaymee!! Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 She's A Rebel & Whatsername are definitely my favourite to perform for people on piano
Eirik Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 She's A Rebel & Whatsername are definitely my favourite to perform for people on piano He specified singing.
Ila Reto Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 i would stay away from Macy's Day Parade (and No One Knows), you have to be really good at hitting the low notes. uhm, try starting out with tracks from Dookie, such as Burnout, Having a Blast. Welcome to Paradise, etc. what is your vocal range? in songs from 39/smooth, the vocals can go pretty high. oh! Words I Might Have Ate (even on accustic), Best Thing in Town, and 409 In Your Coffee Maker are fun!
