Heather! Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 ^Haha me too, I'm sure that's why it's said so much on here. Same with "I concur".After I heard Tré say that in BIAB, I used it all the time. and Billie inserted the phrase "you know?" into my vocabulary as well. I say it all the time now.
Supermodel*Robot Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 What the phrase "horseshoes and handgernades" meant.do share...
Guest Shangri-La Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 do share..."Close/Almost only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades"It's like if you fail a test and you say "i was sooo close!", and then someone else would say the above statement.
forget_me_nots Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Cuz you still get points for being close to target in horseshoes, and with hand grenades, if you're close you still blow up what you were aiming for.

I have no understanding of horseshoe rules, so that initially made no sense.
Psycho Britney Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I love this thread! I say stuff like 'dude', 'knarley' and 'dingleberry'! Obviously I knew the meaning to some of these. But GD did teach me some words such as 'verity', 'mary-jane', 'novacaine', 'malakite', 'panhandle', 'xanex', 'lot-lizard', Hmm..there seem's to be a theme here-most of them are drug's related!!

Anja Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 I learned the term "Fuck Off and Die" thanks to them.So did I and I like to use it now for people that I don´t like I´m glad they don´t know what it means.by the way what ''zieg heil'' means???is german right???It´s from the Nazi era and a like a salution (or whatever the word is) for Hitler. I´m sure it originally comes from a different language cause it doesn´t sound german at all. If you watch BIAB´s "Holiday" you can see Billie doing the Zieg Heil.
minus52 Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Thanks, English is not my native language so I don't know these kinda phrases. And you can't find them in dictionary.try a slang dictonary here
