" bring back sam bayer !!!! the man has a gift!"OK with that out of the way, this video fell flat. Perhaps not as bad as KYE ., but still pretty disappointing. To me a music video needs to capture the mood and energy of the MUSIC . This didn't do that , it attempted to but it didnt. In fact just a live video of the band just rocking out to this song would have done a better job. The band looked kinda "stuck to their mics" , I wanted to see them MOVE for god sake! I wanted to see then rocking their asses out and showing their full emotion and basically putting their soul into the song. Instead we got a few shots(no pun intended) of the band and two actors making out. Even their making out didnt capture any energy. When i think of christian and gloria making out i think of hot fiery passion, i want them to be fighting for their lives .. and not some half-assed laying around the room. THis song IS emotional , it isnt a "lets cry and feel sorry for ourselves song" , its a " lets tear the walls down, feisty attitude song" a song about being frustrated and giving up the fight. It left me high and dry, such a shame this song had SO much potential.The song was a masterpiece. I cant say the same for the video. This song is about BEGGING and screaming for peace. It hardly conveyed the message. Sad ....i agree. i doesn't have enough energy

After resisting against all the bullshit, it's about finally questioning whether it's even worth it, and just saying "fuck it, I'm done". When you look at it from that perspective, it's hard to imagine the video doing a better job of capturing the spirit/message of the song then it does here. This isn't meant to be an angry song (as evidenced by how they made the video), so since you seemed to think it was it's understandable that you'd be disappointed in the video. It's definitely emotional, but it isn't rage. You find that elsewhere in the album and I'm sure there will be a video in the future (East Jesus Nowhere...?) that gives you what you're looking for.EDIT: If the post above me is true (and that certainly does look like her) this Lisa Stelly girl might find a spot right under Hayley Williams on my list of "celebrity crushes" (and I make fun of Green Day's female fans for oogling over Billie...such hypocrisy :whistling: )

You find that elsewhere in the album and I'm sure there will be a video in the future (East Jesus Nowhere...?) that gives you what you're looking for.I totally agree, I think it's song about surrunder and peace, rather than anger like previous songs, and the video shows this but on a small scale - I interpret it as Christian and Gloria having fallen out, but the shooting made this seem insignificant in comparison and they had no energy left to fight, so they could only make peace with eachother. Maybe the light coming through the holes in the wall made by the bullets symbolised them 'seeing the light' because of the bullets (they put everything into perspective).
