gd86arg Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I think this time will be a german's gig HLAHG >> what's that?
Blu Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 ^? hopefully you're asking what HLAHG means, in which case Heart Like A Hand GrenadeI personally think that the way Sam Bayer did BIAB was beautiful with all the angels and black and white. It wasnt supposed to be just like any old normal live DVD with just bland play one song. cut. next song. I really think it was a piece of art. But I think that if there is another one it will be more straight up concert footage. And I'm really not saying this just because I'll be there but the best bet would be MSG since FUSE films sometimes there as do a lot of other bands. It is a piece of art. And I appreciate it quite a bit. I love black and white so much. I'm glad he used it. But there were too many rapid shifts at times and it made my head hurt a bit. Too much for my eyes to process. Slow the amount of shifts and I'd be good.
Spark of Insanity Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 I know, I felt like I had to keep up at one point because it was changing so quickly.A live DVD would be nice. I like BIAB, but if they do another one, it better not be like it. A real live concert DVD would be better. In BIAB, the choppy angles and switches between things so fast is kind of annoying. Plus, they cut songs out. Plus you can't watch just the concert or just the documentary very easily. It'd be nice if they were separate. If they did do a live DVD, it'd be really cool though. I'd like them to release HLAHG first. We've been waiting longer for that.I completely agree, I want them to play live in one sect, and you can put in nice transitions so it wouldn't be boring but nothing to bad for the eye and have every song they played included on the DVD somehow. So that it really feels like you are there and it is a live concert.I would love if they did this with the new record.

Seej Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 i liked watching the Fox footage. that enough shouldve been released on dvd. i mean, come on. why shoot all that stuff if youre not going to profit from it? it's wasting money if you DONT release it. billions of green day fans all over the fucking world would love it. maybe they shouldve put it as a cd/dvd release when the album came out. who knows?

Radioactive1 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Ehh not feeling the idea tbh. I'm happy enough with BIAB.I'd prefer for Heart in a Hand Grenade to be released.
Robin105 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I have a feeling one of the Madison Square Garden shows may put onto DVD. That would be great cause I'll be at both. I think that because Milton Keynes was 2 night back to back and so is this show. I guess well just have to wait and see
Teenage Kicks! Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I want a live US one.I'd hitch hike to get to it.
Boston Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I didn't like BIAB too much. Too polished for my taste.
