stopdrop&roll! Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 no!I listen to other bands, but I never get sick of green day^^I need to listen to them every day, they're like my drug
Isabel Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 I can't imagine ever not listening to Green Day in my life...but at the same time, I wouldn't only listen to them and only invest interest in them and nothing else. Personally, anyone who does that is (I think) really sad.
jenni Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 NEVER TOO MUCH GREEN DAY!!!!!!! "It's the air that I breathe, the blood that's pump through my veins, that keeps me alive"
Kekumba Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I went through a huge Green Day "phase" back when I was 12/13. They were all I listened to for a period of time, and then I discovered the wonders of the internet which ultimately led to discovering other bands that I enjoyed even more than Green Day. Also, at that age you know the whole cool factor and what it means to teenagers.. yeah, well, no one I knew really liked Green Day and it almost became embarrassing that I listened to them (I know, lame). Eventually, I had played Green Day so much that I didn't get the same great feelings when listening to them anymore.Anyway, all I'm getting at is that I certainly had "too much" Green Day to handle at one point and I stopped listening and reading about them for a good few years. The release of 21st Century Breakdown has got me interested again, though, and now I'm a little more older and I find myself enjoying Green Day again. Weird, eh.
karma1215 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Yes and no... my god I have pictures of these guys on my laptop... they pop up on my screensaver.I listen to them everyday and it never gets old for me.
Kryssi. Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 How dare you ask if there's such a thing as 'TOO MUCH' Green Day.Of course there isn't!
GreenDaymaniac2000 Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 na and beleive me people tell me all the time i have got too much Green Day, i tried living without Green Day for a While and to be honest i didn't like the person who came out of it... I think if ever anything is having a good effect on your life you should just run with it, who cares what people think.
PunkRocks and Coke Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 omg i would love to have your job, but anyway i dont think id ever get sick them as a band but maybe if i seen a video a 1,000,000,000 times....maybe

alaniluau Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 Too much Green Day? Never! Maybe some people would get tired of them after awhile, but not me. I've heard BOBD...I don't even know how many times...and every time I hear it it sends chills up my spine like the very first time.
beebee7gd Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 to be honest, there was a time, in like 06, when i stopped listening to them that much. probably a month or two. it was right after after american idiot and right after i was really getting into them, so got a little tired of the same songs. but like i said, it's not like it lasted too much or that i completely stopped listening to them. i would've probably listened to a few songs instead of whole albums.on the other hand, i can say that i had too much muse. in late 2007, i went to one of their concerts. i always like them and i still do, but right after that concert i became obsessed with them. and that went on for like 4 or 5 months, but after that i just deleted all their songs from my ipod. i needed a break. now, i can say that i enjoy their music again
God XIV Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 You Lucky Lucky Lucky Lucky Lucky Lucky Lucky Lucky Lucky Lucky Bastardand No is My Answer
Spaztic Plastic Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Nope The only thing I'd probably get tired of is seeing one video or hearing one song over and over and over. For a while after American Idiot came out I got a little tired of Wake Me Up When September Ends,so I started skipping it when I listened to the rest of the CD. Eventually I came back to it though, don't get me wrong XD
Bassgirl_1984 Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 ^ I agree. There some times when you just get sick of hearing certain songs cause they're played too much. That happened to me with BOBD. I think Green Day is just one of those bands that I never get sick of...I can always listen to their music and have been doing so for years. There's not too many bands out there like that. I do believe it's important to have variety in your music though...like I don't exclusively listen to green day.
Morgaine Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Of course there is. So I always try to avoid such situations and when I feel I'm getting a little tired with Green Day, I just stop listening to them for a while, so that after some time I can do it again with great pleasure.
