!VivaLaGreenDay!23 Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 For Me NEVER!!!! I am sure there is such a thing.......but i have no doubts!!
Morgaine Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I used to think that there's no such a thing like too much Green Day. But after years of being their fan, I know there is, at least for me. I just can't listen to them like all the time, I sometimes need a few weeks without GD music before I can enjoy listening to them again.
Silverlight Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 ive been listening to the same two albums for, like, 4 months, and i am not even getting sick of them yet, and i dont think i ever will coz they are just that awesome:D
Sharmellow Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Ummm... Do dogs lips move when they read? lol, what?
Annie, get your gun Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Honestly, for me, there isn't. I could never never get tired of Green Day, because i think there's a lot of stuff that i don't even know that exist of them . Especially because i live far away so i have the basic stuff, but i'm always waiting for more. For me Green Day is always in constant changing, there's always something new and exciting! They're my treasure!!! And i also breath, eat, think, speak, use them as medicine and LOVE... GREEN DAY. Since they're on my life... my time ticks around them! ♥♥♥
Maddy. Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 You EAT Green Day? That takes fandom to a whole new level.
Princess Consuela Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I think there is, as with anything else. Everyone has a different threshold though
Annie, get your gun Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Hey, don't be silly! I don't eat GD literally. There's no possible way to do that! I mean, they're everything to me, and my love for GD is neverending, y'know?
Thomas-L Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 There are occasions where I'll stop listening to certain songs or albums for a short time, but because Green Day have so many songs I can always listen to something else.
Maddy. Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I think there is, as with anything else. Everyone has a different threshold though Exactly. And some people obviously still need to find that threshold. Hey, don't be silly! I don't eat GD literally. There's no possible way to do that! I mean, they're everything to me, and my love for GD is neverending, y'know? BAM sarcasm fail. Neither is mine, I guess, but ... whaddayaknow?
uhleckseee Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I get in my little "moods", you know? Sometimes they're all I listen to, sometimes I'll avoid the music, it just depends I guess. I get tired of a song when I've heard it too many times, but then eventually I love it again. If I'm not in a GD mood, I'm usually in a FBHT sort of mood. =P
lovelyrita Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I don't think so. I mean for me there will never be someting like 'too much GD'. Unfortunately for my friends- yes. Frankly saying, some time ago I overdid with talking about them... XD
Iain Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 For me, I switch off from Green Day (which happens probably once every few years), but I still love Green Day. I just find it normal to not like something or be sick of something for a while, it's perfectly normal. I'm not a super crazy fan if you catch my drift, but they're still my inspiration for life, yet I have other things to worry about in my life than just a band I love, I'm getting older now so I have to be more serious about my life. I'll still do crazy shit for the lols.
Hermione Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 Nope. No one's gonna put on some Green Day and listen to it unless they want to and they're enjoying it. If they find they're not enjoying it, they'll turn it off. Everyone naturally listens to the exact amount of Green Day they want to listen to, however much or little that is. So no one's getting too much! Unless they're being forced to listen to it against their will. That's why it's stupid to tell someone they listen to too much Green Day and arrogantly assume that they'll get sick of them, or to act superior because you don't listen to them that often or have "moved on" from them. Everyone's different and everyone enjoys things in different ways. Some people enjoy listening to Green Day every day and always will, some just listen to the occasional song, some stop liking them altogether, and everything in between. As long as everyone does what they enjoy, it doesn't matter.
PoliceBoyLogan Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I used to think I was just a Green Day addict or that I listened to them too much. I was wrong. I'm just neurotic. Now I just listen to them all the time and if anyone says, "Isn't that like an overload?" , I just stare at them until I get a sense of awkwardness. It's good fun.
LinziLetterbomb Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I have to say no, although the year before last i was thinking "Hmmmm maybe it's time to start listening to something different!" but then Green Day came out with 21CB and that's it! No i could never get too much of them i love them to bits
1039slappygirl Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I think there maybe always a time to me when the GD songs I love the most (Letterbomb, for example) would get overlistened, so I change a little bit and start listening the songs I barely listen to (like Rotting) or to any other band/artist I like, but at the end, I always return to my favorite ones So my conclusion is: No, I can't get sick of GD
