D'you mean in a good way or a bad way ...?

Bad. Very, very bad. I'm talking about those "if you don't like GD, you deserve to die" types.

But that's not just Green Day, other bands have fans like that too.

Oh, I know, and they're crazy, too.

Oh, yeah, I know what you mean there. I'm not one of those types, though. I like to joke around and pretend I am, sometimes, if that's what you meant ...

I never said you were. I'm just saying, there are people who are legitimately like that.

I like to joke around and make fun of Green Day. Mercilessly. But that's just me.

FUCK NO! I shouldn't reply to that 2 days after the Wembley gig lol

Ah, I see. I thought it was weird you quoted me to get that point across, but whatever. Maybe I'm just being paranoid. I got into a 'fight' on here last night and I'm pretty wary of other members now.

And that's cool, as long as you are, indeed, a fan. Everyone shows their love differently, haha. I personally hate when people don't even remotely like the band think they have the right to come onto GDC and trash them. WTF's up with that?

I'm not some super-fan, but I love to listen to Green Day. And I do listen to them... alot. I like other music, and Green Day isn't the only thing I ever listen to- but I'm going to go ahead and say that if someone wants to listen to only Green Day- they can. And stand by my answer that for certain people, there is no such thing as too much of them.

Well, maybe it doesn't exist for some people and they can do that. But if you say there isn't such a thing as too much Green Day, that means that you could do what I described in my post (only listening purely Green Day all the time etc). There's a difference between listening a lot of Green Day, not ever getting sick of Green Day, talking about Green Day a lot, going to countless of their gigs; that's not too much because it's what you do and still enjoy, but apparently if you were to do MORE than that, it'd be too much. Therefore, for that person too much Green Day exists.

I quoted you because it was a response to you. And...good for you?

They're trolls. Ignore them and they'll go away.

Back on topic, I think I'm getting sick of Green Day. I don't know whether this is because I listened to them too much or because my taste in music has changed, but I'm not really...into them anymore. I'm realizing just how bad some of their lyrics are (most of the lines in "Little Girl" make me cringe), and Billie's falsetto is really starting to annoy me. I'm just drifting away from them, I guess.

No, no, you made sense. They're just really starting to annoy me now. It could be a phase, it could be permanent, I don't know.

Wow, Hannah. You only need to use one period per sentence.

I'm drifting away from Green Day, too. Just like Biba and Hannah said.

Yes, I guess it gets to a point where listening to them 24/7 isn't necessarily a good thing. Like a bunch of people have said, I am drifting away from them a bit, I don't listen to them everyday. Whenever a song comes on my shuffle that I actually like by GD, I'll listen to it. My "obsession", if you will, has mellowed down a bit, and I have gotten into a lot of other music.

Yeah. I listen to them a lot, if you haven't already gathered

But I listen to a very wide variety of music, If I listened to the same band all the time it would get boring.

Yes. I used to listen to them all the time. And then months before and after my show last year, they were honestly all I listened to. But it's possible to get sick of anything. I just wore them out. I still listen to them, but usually not daily. There's a lot of music out there, and I didn't realize that when I was younger.

I seriously can't understand how a real Green Day fan could ever get tired of Green Day. o_o; It's beyond my comprehension.

^ I don't know... I guess that depends from person to person... Personally I was never ever tired of them. I can be like months without listening to their music (sometimes not really my choice  ) but I'll always be on here, seeing what they're currently working on, and watching new videos from the concerts and seeing their pictures (ga), it's, like I said before a routine for me (and usually the best part of my days). I love these guys too much and they are such a huge part of my life that I just can't think of having too much of them going on my life

I kind of wish I could ever get to a time in my life that I would say.. I've seen Green Day Too many times!

Too much of anything is too much. No matter how good it is.

Do you even realize how pretentious you sound?

People need variety in their lives. If you listened to Green Day 24/7, you'd probably get sick of them, too. Who the fuck are you to judge whether or not someone is a "real" fan?
