Nova-Caine Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I want them to tour so bad but won't hold my breath. So Instead I am going to shout out FBHT songs when Billie asks what we want to hear on the GD tour. It might work, you never know.
Jack96 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I think the fun of FBHT is that they only played small bar shows it just keeps the party atmosphere alive you know!?!
atara111 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I don't mind voting it but I know thay'll never come to Israel even if thay WILL have a tour, so..doesnt really matter for me
madie Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Oh come on. Foxboro were so amazing because they came out of nowhere and weren't anticipated. They were in the moment. The moment has passed.
whatsername Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Oh come on. Foxboro were so amazing because they came out of nowhere and weren't anticipated. They were in the moment. The moment has passed. Finally a voice of reason.
Greenday_Aussie Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Oh come on. Foxboro were so amazing because they came out of nowhere and weren't anticipated. They were in the moment. The moment has passed.Im callin bullshit on this comment, Foxboro is god But seriously, they wont tour here, but I'll vote to help the others out, they are pretty cool. Seems like a bunch of fun, their concerts.
louizex Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 foxboro hot tubs playing the glasgow garage would be SO amazing!
Guest Hayley Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I don't think that FHT will go on a tour but we can try.
atara111 Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 The whole point of FHT is having fun, I doubt a world wide tour anyway.
iLozza! Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Doubt it'd happen, but I'd pay a frickin' fortune and my arm to see them live.
Hermione Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Oh Foxies I want you.My friend Lara came up with the idea to make that petition. I hope a lot of people sign up to it, I mean, a LOT of us missed out on seeing them, which isn't fair. I mean, fair enough it was a 'special' thing, but now with taking it to TV, they have to do something else with that band."I've got you on my mind England..."I agree, it seems like a waste of a good thing to only do one tour! Their live show sounds mindblowingly fun for both audience and band. How could they resist? That quote has haunted me , but in recent interviews they've said they were really worn out after the US tour, I think pneumonia was even mentioned. That makes me feel a lot less sad that they didn't come, it's a pretty acceptable excuse! But now they should come and show us a good time
Rita Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I highly doubt this would ever work (the Facebook petition, really?) but whatever, I'm in.
Colin Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I think the FBHT will be playing on the UK leg of the tour cos remember back last year the rev said i have you in mind england.
IscoredWaddlesgoals Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Is this like that highly successfull Heart Like A Hand Grenade petition that was set up ?
Spastic Socialite Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 As brilliant as this would be I'm sure that this won't happen; FHT were created as a creative outlet for the band whilst writing 21st Century Breakdown. I think they just played on TV last week to again show another side to the band; something a little different from all the other stuff that has been shown of them all over TV recently. Also what you have to realise is that the release of 21CB has probably brought along with it a load of new fans; perhaps they played as FHT to try and sell more FHT CD's?? ( well not them personally, but the record label.) I dont know about you guys in the US but I would have not known about FHT if it had not been for sites like this one, mabye they are trying to get more publicity for the record similarly to how they flagged the network album otherwise how would the fans know about it other than fansites?? but yea.. thats just my opinion; would still be epic if they did do a tour
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 It would be really cool if they'd tour Europe. I really hope they do that, but don't know how big the chance it they're really going to do it...
Astrid. Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I doubt they will.. but it's not fair the US got a chance to see them and we (UK/EU) didn't Please tubbies? Oh I joined that facebook petitionAs brilliant as this would be I'm sure that this won't happen; FHT were created as a creative outlet for the band whilst writing 21st Century Breakdown. Spastic Socialite Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 hahah what can I say I'm a big fan of conspiricy theories , I cant see a Tv show just letting Green Day play as FHT, im sure there is a reason behind it
Zalex Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I doubt they will.. but it's not fair the US got a chance to see them and we (UK/EU) didn't Please tubbies? Oh I joined that facebook petitionOr to let us know they're not gone Uh hi, they didnt exactly tour all of the US.They came nowhere near the east coast.
Soo Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I would love for them to do a few small shows in the UK! Even more so after seeing that fantastic performance on Carson Daly! Looks like it would be great fun at one of their shows.
LouLou Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Oh come on. Foxboro were so amazing because they came out of nowhere and weren't anticipated. They were in the moment. The moment has passed.I want my moment back!

Looks like it would be great fun at one of their shows.Yes, I would love them too as well, and will join any petition to do so, however unrealistic I might think it is actually going to be. but I have never forgotten the Rev saying that England was on his mind. So I live in hope.
