Nzap Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Aah, Green Day, you stupid men. This was the last song that should have been removed from your setlist, not the 2nd (BTL was the first ).
dumbell2424 Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 "There’s a disturbance on the Oceanside/They tapped into the reserve/The static response is so unclear now/Mayday this is not a test!/As the neighborhood burns/America is falling" Such fitting lyrics for what's going on in the Gulf right now.
Micky Posted June 23, 2010 Posted June 23, 2010 Aah, Green Day, you stupid men. This was the last song that should have been removed from your setlist, not the 2nd (BTL was the first ). oooh, I so agree
onaholiday Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Yeah! Why the hell did they take this off the setlist? Now lollapalooza is gonna miss out on this BA song

Micky Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 THIS has so much reality and meaning to it it's incredible. and also, MIKE IS SUCH AN UNDERRATED SINGER! First time listening to it i mistook him for billie joe.. he should sing waayyy more often I so concur. I thought for years that "Nobody Likes You" was sung by Billie I love Mike's voice and in American Eulogy live it's amazing
St. Jimmy 7234 Posted July 13, 2010 Posted July 13, 2010 I love this song... The part at the end where both Mass Hysteria and Modern World Choruses mix with each other... I go crazy! Haha
Haniik Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 For me the best song on whole album! I adore it! When they played it live in Prague I thought I'd scream my heart out I love the energy of that song, it always makes my day, no matter how bad my mood is, it always makes me smile and sing along
The Platypus! Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 This is my favourite song off of 21st Century Breakdown and one of my favourite songs live but it's a shame they don't play it live more often.
Adeline.Hearts.You Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 I just love it, when i heard it for the first time, and i heard mike singing... It really made me happy, it made a nice change, and i love the linking parts! I think mike should sing more!
Angelandthejerk Posted September 14, 2010 Posted September 14, 2010 just gunna say, i loooove mikes singing voice
V@L3 Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 my favorite part of the song is when billie joe says vigilantes warning ya calling christian and GLORIA damn, he can scream one of my favorite green day songs, thats for sure i also like mike singing the song XD
fadi_7 Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 i love this song so much it's so energetic
jensername Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 This song seriously blew me away when I first heard it. It's freakishly catchy and I love the punk attitude it has. Also, Mike does awesome vocals in this song. Him and Billie have always been great at harmonizing, so It's nice to have a song where you get to hear just Mike's vocals (well, at least in Modern World). Anyway..this is an amazing song.
The Platypus! Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 I haven't listened to this song in ages. Might listen to it later.
Femme Gauche Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 A wall of t.v. screens. Love that analogy! Also, can't argue with the emotional blender <3. My appreciation of this song just grew.
