bjrules Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 I love this song especially the line "Hey hey its the static age, well this is how the west was won" I love the way Billie sings that line.
Supermodel*Robot Posted October 3, 2009 Posted October 3, 2009 Some of the lines in this song are fucking breathtaking. The imagery & themes are incredible. You're conscience on a cross & your heart's in a vice, squeezing out your state of mind.
gmcloughlin Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 "Whats the latest way that a man can die? Screaming hallelujah"This line chokes me up.
Black Wolf Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 It´s really one of my fav songs in that album. I´ve to jump every time I hear it.....
Penguin Puffball Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I'm still forever listening to this song. At an unreasonable volume. It continues to amaze me.
Princess Consuela Posted October 10, 2009 Posted October 10, 2009 I find watching vidoes of this song live kind of ironic. I mean, Billie always tells people to switch off cameras and mobiles before he starts singing it, yet people record it and we all can enjoy them. Not that I was complaining... :whistling: But you know what I mean.
Tubbie Head Posted October 12, 2009 Posted October 12, 2009 Oh god.. This was one of the songs where I actually cryed while singing during the concert, I was so pumped to hear it, and there it was.. Green day playing in front of me, it was real This was the most emotional partAll I wanna knowIs a god-damned thingNot what's in the medicineAll I wanna doIs I want to breatheBatteries not includedWhat's the latest way that a man can dieScreaming hallelujah? Singing out "the dawn's early tonight"The silence of the rotten, forgottenOh oh screaming at you I love this song so much
