AfterShock Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Probably the most brutal song ever written by Green Day. If not for the music, then for the lyrical content. I enjoy this song when I'm angry, and am semi-scared of it when I'm not. It's a self-polarizing song for me. ...Platypus? I can't find a live version of this song, can anyone point me in the right direction?
Reberebel96 Posted August 6, 2010 Posted August 6, 2010 I love this song, this should be the next single. I wonder why they don't play it live
groundpatty Posted August 8, 2010 Posted August 8, 2010 when the vocals come in that first time... It's like a punch to the face. i love it
lizziebix Posted August 11, 2010 Posted August 11, 2010 I tried reading the full thread and didn't make so if this is a repeat sorry. One of my favorite quotes has always been, "almost only counts in horseshoes, handgrenades and atom bombs." (I've been saying this since I was a kid and wonder if he got it from one of his kids or if he had heard it when he was a kid?) I never really made the connection to the title of this song until recently. Dumb, I know. And of course had to listen to it again and again and again. Is it growing on me because of my attraction to the title and my attraction to the quote? Don't know but right now I can seem to stop listening to it.
♥PunkKitty♥ Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 I love how wild and crazy this song is. XD Different from the rest of the album.
*_Whatsername_* Posted August 24, 2010 Posted August 24, 2010 Definitely reminds me of Foxboro Hot Tubs.
Fia <3 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 it's my favorite song on 21stCB.. I love billies screaming
jensername Posted October 4, 2010 Posted October 4, 2010 I love this song. This was definitely a good move for Green Day.
z5warrior Posted October 6, 2010 Posted October 6, 2010 I know this will sound weird and maybe it's just my computer, but this is suppose to be Horseshoes and Handgranades right? So why does it say Restless Heart Syndrome for the title? or is it just my computer idk. On topic both songs are awesome.

Drop Dead Hideous Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I'm just wondering why this thread is entitled restless heart syndrome then the threads are about Horseshoes and handgrenades I'm just wondering if i missed something

Whatsername1911 Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 I get chills when I hear "I think they found another cure..." This song is incredible.
Marlee Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 i love this song (as i do for every song ) i especially love how different and odd it is...it can give me chills
Zero. Posted November 5, 2010 Posted November 5, 2010 I just started to learn it on the piano, its got this really nice tempo with it and you can bring a lot of emotion into it when playing, it's a great song I love it!
Burnout98 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 That song does have a bad-ass attitude to it. One of my favourite songs on 21stCB, when i first listened to the song, i laughed at the first line of the song because i wasn't ready for it, the other songs before weren't like this. Awesome song overall!!
Desensitized09 Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 This is most definitely my most favorite song off of 21st CB. The lyrics are powerful, the music is moving, Billie's voice is amazing and the result of all of that put together is an incredible song that pulls at my heartstrings every time I hear it. It's incredible and when it dives into the instrumental part after Billie sings, "Know your enemy" it just gives me chills when the music suddenly blows up into that incredible solo. Amazing. One of my most favorite GD songs ever made.
