Jeone Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 I really really think that they should play this and Peacemaker live. That would be fucking epic!
Sunshine2385 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 IDK why everyone has a problem with this song, best song on cb!
newsflash777 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 This song is beautiful. The whole repetition of, "You are your own worst enemy" really, really gave me a wake up call. Green Day tends to do that to me. And then the "KNOW YOUR ENEMY." part is absolutely brilliant because it's leading us back to Know Your Enemy and then the instrumental just leaves enough time to think it through.Man, this song is definitely one of my favorites.
Vrock09 Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 One of my favorite songs on the album, I the song is so true, how the pharmacutical companies and insurance companies are trying to control who qualifies for heathcare, and gives them medication that they don't need and probably makes them worse. But I wont get into the politics side of it, but still a very good song.
Laura! Posted December 29, 2009 Posted December 29, 2009 I have this song on repeat right now. I love it!
Isabel Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Just learned the intro on the piano the other night
Maddy. Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I love not listening to Green Day for a while and then listen to this song and get overwhelmed by awesomeness.
parinaz Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 RHS is one of my favourite GD songs! I can´t stop listening to it! The only negative aspect of the 21st CB Tour is that GD doesn´t play RHS! I don´t know the reason for it, but I guess it´s because the song is so emotional, both for Billie to sing and for the audience to listen to it...Billie said it was the hardest song to write and I know I would probably start crying while hearing it live. But still, I wish they would add it to the setlist!agreed. and it's making me worry what if billie didn't tell us the truth and hadn't written it on piano himself?
Maddy. Posted February 6, 2010 Posted February 6, 2010 agreed. and it's making me worry what if billie didn't tell us the truth and hadn't written it on piano himself? wtflol, Eirik. Great minds think alike.
Clayish Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 agreed. and it's making me worry what if billie didn't tell us the truth and hadn't written it on piano himself? What the hell are you talking about?
ChelseaWhatsername Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 This song's a fucking masterpiece!!!It's a very heavy song. The lyrics and guitar solos are incredible. Breathtaking All the songs on the album blow me away, but this one seems the reach just a little bit deeper. It's so real; we're all victims of our symptoms, and we're all our own enemies. We can't escape our own self-destruction. I wish others would go that far into their lyrics like Billie Joe. He just understands everything so much better...
Just Kate Posted February 26, 2010 Posted February 26, 2010 this song is tearing my heart apart... it's so good but really sad. just love it. really
Maddy. Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 My mum liked this one ... until the noisy bit in the middle. >: (

Just Kate Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 agreed. and it's making me worry what if billie didn't tell us the truth and hadn't written it on piano himself? ?????????????????
Maddy. Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 but thats what make it such an amazing song I know! I love that part. It's so ~noisy~
Rosie May Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 agreed. and it's making me worry what if billie didn't tell us the truth and hadn't written it on piano himself? Why wo9uldn't he have written it???
SaintxOfxSuburbia Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 I love the reference to Know Your Enemy. It's like Know Your Enemy was only a taste of what he meant, and then Restless Heart Syndrome is the full story, and he's just like, Know Your Enemy. Throughout the album there are references to stuff like the "dawn's early light" and the "fire" 21st Century Breakdown is one of, if not the best, concept albums ever made. You really sink your teeth into it, and get the story, no matter how many times it changes on you.
gdpony Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 im not sure what I think about this song! ... its been almost a year, and I cant decide how feel about it! . I really dont now why I get sad when I listen to it! but I like it a lot ... Idk ...
