Best. Song. Ever.

The verses are great and the chorus is just as good. This is by far my favourite song on the album. Billie's singing and lyrics completely encapsulate the feel of the song. And the way he says 'orgasm' makes me do just that.

I was thinking of starting a thread about Peacemaker when I saw this. I have noticed that this song has been absent from the good quality live footage that we've seen, and I feel sad about that as it's one of my favoutites and I would love to hear it played live.

I really love this song :D It's one of my favourites!

I really like this one.

This one grabbed me at the beginning and has remained a favorite. Probably THE favorite, right now. I can't help but turn it up when it comes on.

Like the rest of you, I sure hope it's on the arena tour setlist!

This song has already reached the number one spot on my library play count and I can't see it going anywhere; I listen to it at least twice every single day. I just love it to death.

Listening to this song always makes me smile.

I like it, but am not nearly as impressed. That's pretty much how you pronounce the "r" in my name.

He also does it in the FHT video on Carson at the end "Muchos gracias"

Well, i guess not nearly as cool as the "serrrrenade"

i guess you can say it's the spanish "r" :P

except for that serrrenade at the end. that's just exagerated, but it's still that.. think the word dog, "perro", it has that sound as all the words in spanish with the double r.. so it's kinda comun in spanish..XP

But I do like the lines "Vendetta, sweet vendetta"

mmmmm me too

it's so sinister and sexual :shifty:

One of my favourites on the album, after EJN and Little Girl.

I like the "Hey ey ey ey ey", and the way he sings "serrrra....NEEEEEDE" at the end.

When I first heard this song online when they were streaming it my brother asked me what the songs sounded like and which songs I liked (he couldn't get to a comp) Basically I told him they all rock, lyrics are fantastic, and Peacemaker was my favorite at the time... I loved the Spanish/Mexican influence you can hear throughout the song. And the way he says serenade at the end of the song gives me goosebumps :shifty:

When I first heard this song I was like "What the hell?" but now I love it. The way Billie sings on this is amazing.

Besides Billie's amazing falsetto, I think this song has the best vocals and I love the acoustic guitar. Enough said. :D

i love it. when i listen to it i understand why they took 5 years to put out this album & i'm glad they did. though it took a LOT of patience from us :P

goddamn good song.

I love it when bands experiment with different sounds.

lyrics are great, though I haven't really figured them all out 100% (I mean the meaning)

It became my fav song, right after I heard the album the first time..I love it how Billie spells the SeRRRRRRRanade..so sexy :eyebrows:

this song is one of my absolute favorites off the album. I love it when the guys experiment with a vaudeville-like sound, it reminds me of 'misery'. the first time I heard Billie roll his 'rrs' when he said 'serre-naaade' I nearly pissed myself. I hope they make a music video for this one... I'm imagining old-time Mexico, dancers, and sombrerrros :]

I like the beginning of it,and the lyrics especially. And I just love the end when Billie Joe goes seraaaaa naaaaade and I like the hey hey's too.
