in_your_face Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 I admire this song!!! it's an amazing song!!! and the lyrics too!!!
norrace Posted May 12, 2010 Posted May 12, 2010 I am an old fart & my hearing is not so great. Can anyone tell me what the whisper is at the beginning of the song? Also, is 56 too old to think that GD is one of the best rock bands in the world. When I tell people that I'm going to see one of their concerts I get strange looks. Marlay Park, can't wait!

Sanity Loan Posted May 15, 2010 Posted May 15, 2010 I won a copy of the radio promo single on ebay earlier today. I'm excited about it!
Diloss Posted May 16, 2010 Posted May 16, 2010 My 6 year old brother loves this song, it's his fav song! When he hears it he tries to sing and dance. He can't get enough of it, neither can I. ^i lived there for few months only and i had to go back in june i think... i don't really remember now, my head is full of different places (now it may be that by the end of the month i move to England now...) i like Rotterdam. it's only a bit trashy (lots of garbage on streets) i thought this place was supposed to be clean and stuff still my favourite Dutch town is Oss (i absolutely love it) wish i could go back there... but it's too small for Green Day to play though I live in Oss! xD I can't get enough of East Jesus Nowhere, It's my fave song of this album
PanicAttack! Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 My theory is that Billie Joe only requests kids on stage during this song, because he don't wanna risk saving someone taller than him - Kickass live song! The intro-riff is probably one of the moments where their show peaks
Sanity Loan Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 I got the single of EJN in the mail today! Now my 21CB singles collection is complete (Might be another single but I doubt it)
Just Kate Posted June 14, 2010 Posted June 14, 2010 I live in Oss! xD I can't get enough of East Jesus Nowhere, It's my fave song of this album ... my friend - i love you. i wish i could see this place once more (actually i lived in Heesh. the cutest place on earth) i love this song 100%!! i love the power and the potential of it. especially very loud...
ColetteCool Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 I absolutely love EJN! It's my favorite song on the album, and my favorite GD song as well.
DefineSomeone Posted June 20, 2010 Posted June 20, 2010 In my opinion, the best song on the record! The guitar is amazing!!!! The first song I loved on the record.
green-day1972 Posted June 27, 2010 Posted June 27, 2010 EJN is maybe the most punk-rock song in that album and that's why I love it !! In live it's better than the original !!!!
Whatsername90 Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 In my opinion, the best song on the record! The guitar is amazing!!!! The first song I loved on the record. Same here! And it's GREAT live! I love the guitar intro riff.
Billie Kristy Posted July 6, 2010 Posted July 6, 2010 Fefinilty my favorite of 21 Century Breakdown. It;s just amazing, and even better performed live
Iain Posted July 8, 2010 Posted July 8, 2010 This song is CRAZY live! I love when it just kicks right into it and A SCARY MOTHERF@!KIN' FACE POPS UP ON THE STAGE!! Love the song and with what it speaks about. Very meaningful, I used to be aethiest but now I'm agnostic, but I look at the song as if it's religion snubbing different types of people, the pressure it causes on some people and how some religious people reject people around them because of their lifestyle, because of it being against their religion.
YehItsRyan Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 This song live is great one to just jump and down to, and sing along to it. Has to be one of Green Days songs which is 10 times better when they play it live.
GloriasInferno Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 One of my favorites of 21st Century Breakdown, it's just so powerful! And live it's just amazing.
BradJam Posted August 23, 2010 Posted August 23, 2010 Intoduced this song to SO many friends and they all love it!!! And whenever I lends 21stCB to a friend, they always say this is one of of the standouts
undyingloveofgloria Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 It's strange for me to say that I like this song. I don't like the message at all, but I admit it is very catchy and has well-written lyrics. (That being said, I am a Christian. I am Pentecostal...no, not the weird skirt wearing, non-hair cutting ones that are obviously a cult. No no, I am one that wears pants (I'm a woman). I am Pentecostal Assembles of Canada). There are things that I find hypocritical, i.e. Ted Haggard situations, Priest abuse. (although that doesn't mean I don't trust church leaders, but I don't like the ones that are like "Feel God...for $100!:...like Benny Hinn or the incredibly flaky Joel Olsteen.
hmbscit Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I love everything about this song! It blows me away on so many levels!
Sheehan Rysa Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Just 2 nights ago, my friend played it and I felt like a rockstar, freakin out, jumping around and singing it
fadi_7 Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 well i did believe in god and still but not as much as i was before this song but i want to know if green day are Christians or something and i think this song is about it's ok to have doubts about things please pm me if have the answer for me
Fia <3 Posted September 20, 2010 Posted September 20, 2010 I really enjoy playing that song on the guitar *__* it sounds so fu*king great
jensername Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 This song is fucking intense! I love the line "The sirens of decay will infiltrate the faith fanatics". When someone tries to question religion, people usually end up getting really pissed off. It's pretty ridiculous.
